These pipes were made in a French factory in the seventies or eighties and were unfinished. A few years ago, one of our vendors found them in his warehouse and offered them to us. We then asked our resident pipe restorer and the maker of Gabrieli Pipes, Dan Chlebove, to finish them and he did his usual outstanding job.
While most of the pipes from this group are straight billiards, here's an Unsmoked XL University Straight Bulldog. It's over 6 inches long and has a chamber that's over an inch and a half deep. Dan chose a warm chestnut color to finish this pipe. The stem is a black vulcanite tapered bit. If you like the traditional bulldog shape but also like bigger pipes, this is the one for you.
