Vega Magna may be the pinnacle of the storied career of Manuel Quesada, Jr. These are very limited production cigars in boxes of 10. The reason for the limited quantities is that only one pair of his best rollers are allowed to make these gems. Some of the tobaccos used to make Vega Magna have been aged as long as 18 years, some of them resting in bundles surrounded by palm bark, in the Cuban method. The wrapper is a beautiful Ecuadorian Sun-Grown leaf that surrounds a Dominican binder, and long-fillers from three different strains, all grown in the DR. The result is a cigar with remarkable complexity and notes of dark chocolate, cedar, baking spices, and a dark fruit sweetness on the finish. If they're available, you should grab what you can because they won't be around all the time.
