Recently, the folks at Peterson Pipes in Dublin were going through their inventory and found a hidden treasure. There was an order of amber from the 1930s with the original packing slip. They decided to make a limited run of pipes in smooth and sandblast finishes that they would fit with stems made from the amber. Knowing that the fragility of amber might make people only smoke the pipes on rare occasions, Peterson chose to include an additional black acrylic stem for everyday use. If you've been looking for a centerpiece for your collection, you may well want to get a Peterson Amber while they're still available.
