It’s a lil to moist for my taste, and it’s hard for it to stay lit, but the smell is amazing and it’s so smooth, does not have a overwhelming smell on my clothes or car

An awesome product. I was very pleased with the flavor and smell, as we're my friends who I shared with. The only down side was as it got old and dry it developed a more noticeable bite. I believe that's to be expected so I remedied with a few sprits of water into the pouch.

I bought the sampler to try Borkum Riff. Somehow it’s one tobacco that has slipped by me so this deal was too good to pass up. It seems I’m always looking for that one cherry tobacco that will be my go to when I have a taste for it. While Borkum Riff is near the top it did not meet my expectation of a perfect Cherry. It did have a good flavor but with only a hint of cherry. It smoked cool and had little if any bite. My wife did not complain of the Oder so it has a good room note. I would say it’s better than most Cherry tobacco blends I’ve tried. Casey Jones last Ride is still the best Cherry I think But I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a pouch of Borkum Riff Cherry if I wanted a pouch.

Easy to remedy, of course, but the Cherry Liquor was so wet it didn't want to smoke at first. Great flavor. Might try again if I can't get Prince Albert.

Taste great and very smooth, I like it very much

Interesting tobacco. Good cut and moisture content. Packs well and burns nicely. Seems to be quality tobacco. Flavor and aroma are very subtle. I personally do not detect a specific cherry flavor, but it is pleasant nonetheless. I will finish the pouch but probably won't order more. Not a bad tobacco at all. You may like it if you prefer a tobacco with a subtle flavor/aroma profile. Don't expect a cherry bomb. :)

Burned hot and I didn't get any cherry flavor or aroma from it. On the plus side it burns long.

BR whiskey is still a favorite but cherry liqueur is a pleasant change. Quite pleased.

I had high hopes for this flavor but it came up ho-hum in my view. I found it to suffer from the same struggles so many cherry pipe tobaccos seem to have - thin flavor, some tongue bite out of the gate, and not a solid translation of the cherry tones to the room note. It was better than several other cherry aromatics I've experimented with over time, but the quest for a solid cherry player is still underway.

Love the flavor.

This was a very good buy money wise. I got the original which tastes OK to me. I got the Bourbon Whiskey which is very tasty but a little stinging to my taste buds. I got the Cherry Liquor which is very pleasant smelling and tasting. I got the Black Cavandish which is smooth and tastes ok to me. By far the best was the the Cherry Cavandish. It is smooth, smells wonderful and tastes great.

This tobacco had a mild flavor but not even a hint of cherry. It came very dry. I had to break it up when I first opened it because it was in one tight block.

A light smoke, much less cherry than I had expected though. Burns nice. Just opened the pouch and tried it in my aero pipe. Not bad, but I don't think I'd order again. I'd stick with Lane Very Cherry if you want a good cherry flavor. Very little bite. Not a bad room note

Mildly flavorful. Cool smoking. However, I would not smoke it everyday.

I'm used to the cherry cavendish and thought I'd give this a try. I like it just as much as the cavendish. I like milder tobaccos.

Zero Flavor i will never buy this tobacco again.

Tasted like plain old rolling tobacco. Zero Flavor aside from the typical tobacco flavor.

It takes like fumes from a chemical fire or burning toxic waste dump. Seriously...the nastiest pipe tobacco I've ever smoked.

Borkum Riff just seems to get it right. Their aromatics are all spot on. Cherry liquor is no different. Smooth sweet flavor. It burns cool with little to no bite. The cherry flavor is reminiscent of Jolly Rancher candy. So for me I might be a little bias, because they're my favorite candy. Seems to pair up nicely with a nice cold American lager as well. And the price is nice too.

All the other reviewers have said it all. Definitely in my rotation. No bite at all. Low moisture.

I have used this product for over forty years but have had trouble finding the product and Pipes and Cigars solved that problem. They never seem to have trouble maintaining stock and their delivery and service is without doubt the best.

Strong smell when opened. Nice smoke smooth for me. this is the first time i ordered it. S far one of my favorites i have tried. I will will order other Borkum Riff in the next few days.

Not for me. I thought the tobacco was dry and void of much cherry aroma out of the pouch. It was strong from first light and presented very little if any cherry flavor. At half a bowl, it started getting bitter. I tried mixing some with a little Carter Hall but ending up just wasting the C.H. I ended throwing out half of the pouch. Of course, my tastes and yours are different and it has received some good reviews, so you'll have to try it yourself.

Borkum Riff Cherry has been my favorite for years. Just enough cherry, never overbearing. The smoke is smooth, never bites.

I have been smoking Borkum Riff Cherry Liquor for 40 + years and have never changed or tried any other brand. I found that it does not bite and most ladies love the smell and have no complaints.

Very nice tobacco with heavy cherry overtones throughout the bowl. A richer flavor than other cherries that I've tried.
