well it smokes decent , it doesnt bite, taste ok, but not really much "cherry" about it
3 out of 5
It's has a good smell and a good blend
3 out of 5
It smells ok but doesn't taste very good. It came really moist so I had to dry it out. The strength is really mild. I wouldn't buy this one again.
3 out of 5
VERY aromatic and mild in my view. I’ve purchased a few tins about 4 times generally when a sale occurs and will continue this trend. I’d recommend trying a couple tins of this if you’re looking for some cherry flavor stuff.
5 out of 5
Smooth it was pitted against blood red moon. I like them both. So it's a draw. The Aroma and flavor goes with the mood I'm in at that time of day. Both are great with a great bourbon and some relaxing blues in the evening on the back porch. Thank you.

CAO Cherrybomb was a really nice smoke. Easy to pack, easy to light, and not once did I get an acrid taste on my tongue. The aroma was great. The flavor was pretty enjoyable, but a bit more muted than I expected. The tobacco it self was a bit moister than I thought and I think it has a heavy additive based on the coloring, but it was never sticky or syrupy. I would recommend certainly to anyone curious about trying cherries or even as an introductory tobacco based on how easy it was to work with.

Love this. Smokes good good flavor

Of all the cherry tobacco's I've tried so far (11), this one ranks #2 as far as flavor! A nice vanilla/cherry aroma and taste! Love it!
3 out of 5
If you like cherry tobaccos this is a great one for the mild aromatic fan. This is a cavendish only blend and does not have much tobacco flavor so this will be more like cherry flavored air to the more experienced smoker. That Madagascar vanilla in this is amazing. Too mild for my taste but i mix 15% virginia/oriental and 10% cigar leaf with this blend and bam!! It transforms into bliss

Not bad at all!

Very good tobacco, always love the cherry blend and this one is great

Has a nice aroma. The aftertaste takes some getting used to. The service from pipes and cigars was top notch. Fast and easy will be using them more.

Nice cordial cherry flavor

This is a pleasant smoke. It’s a bit milder then CBM but still worth the price.

Had to dry it out as it wouldn’t burn well. The blend of vanilla and cherry is awesome. Everyone in the room loved it.

Wonderful smell

I actually prefer this over the Cult Blood Red Moon. Its more mild whith a touch of vanilla. Very enjoyable smoke. Its a nice change from my go to Captain Black.

Absolutely love it. It can be found paired with my meerschuam at least one a week.

Too bad this great tobacco isn't offered in 8 or 16 ounce lots.

I was looking forward to trying this cherry flavored tobacco and it just wasn’t remarkable in any way. I haven’t been able to find a replacement for Captain Black Premium Edition Red Sky, a cherry that was remarkable and not available any longer so I keep looking. Another favorite of mine is Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish which is also real nice. Guess I’ll have to stick to that unless Red Sky is re-released. I’m a bit disappointed.

What I like about this tobacco, is that it leaves a smooth cherry aftertaste, and the stem of my pipe has a cherry aftertaste as well. I would reccommend.

I will repeat the title again. Smooth, Flavorful, and Consistent is what I find CAO Cherrybomb to be every time a sit down for a bowl full. I have never been disappointed with CAO Cherrybomb. It is (to me) the finest of the cherry flavored tobaccos that I have smoked. And I have tried quite a few other cherry tobaccos. In fact I have several pounds of other cherry flavored tobacco that I don’t smoke any more, unless I run out of CAO Cherrybomb. The room note is wonderful to me and I have received complements from almost everyone who enters my den, office and shop. My wife and her sisters all love the room note because it reminds them of their grandpa. I have heard so many stories about the man, because CAO Cherrybombs room note is so pleasing to them, that I miss him too. And I NEVER met the man. So I guess it’s easy to understand why I am a CAO Cherrybomb Man. If the girls don’t find ya handsome get some CAO Cherrybomb and they will find you Smooth Flavorful and Consistent with a Pleasant Room Note to boot. Sincerely Jared

Very good cherry flavor
3 out of 5
Decent smoke but flavor faded out quick
4 out of 5
This is a pretty good aromatic tobacco. I would consider it to be light on the flavor, which appeals to me, and the room note is very middle-of-the-road also. Not too sweet, not to ashtray.
It's a bit moist outta the tin, so let your pinch air out for an hour first.
5 out of 5
This may be the best I've ever smoked. Smooth from start to finish. Excellent tin note, cherry and vanilla.Packs well and finished to the bottom. No harsh taste. Excellent!
5 out of 5
One of my favorites, no foul aftertaste, sweet smelling smoke doesn't leave you feeling dirty like how some tobaccos the smell and sticky Ness of the smoke fallow you. Well balanced and blend . Highly recommend this one!
3 out of 5
Good mellow tobacco that produces a robust smoke when given the proper amount of time to dry a bit. It tends to be wet right out of the tin but has a very pleasing aroma. Flavor is not as extreme as some of the other cherry blends I have tried but I can see how other puffers could call this a favorite.
4 out of 5
Really good stuff, but the Cullt Blood Red Moon is just a little better to my taste, and burns better in my opinion.
5 out of 5
Cherryfull to say the least.
3 out of 5
CAO always seems to stand out more to me with their cigars tbh. I do find the aroma enjoyable and fragrant enough to be noticed. The flavors that come forth well certainly contain cherries but perhaps not as forward as some other blends I've had, The flavor is fairly mellow and it is enjoyable with the more pronounced cavendish that makes up the tin. I would say that perhaps the cherry could be somewhat more pronounced especially with a name like "Cherrybomb". The smoke seems even and mellow but I am not sure I would run to this offering when there are others that work as well for a better price. The Lane Very Cherry may be a better value which I find quite smooth also but with hints of vanilla that I didn't notice as much with CAO's.

gods gift to cherry cavendish
no bite
and the smoke tastes like cherries.
best part the room note is a fresh baked apple pie
next to no bark, even when burnt hot.
going to call this a regular for me

Very good! I will definitely order Cherry Bomb again.

Love the smell and aftertaste! My wife loves the aroma when I smoke this brand.
5 out of 5
This tobacco has a great taste and a smooth smoke.
5 out of 5
Very flavorful with a great room note, a real crowd pleaser.
4 out of 5
I wouldn't call this a cherry bomb. It's good but I get more of a tobacco blend than a cherry bomb.
4 out of 5
Good. Needs a bit more fruit.
4 out of 5
Nice draw and smoke, the vanilla was there but blood moon is better
5 out of 5
The blend on this one is solid. Cherry. 💣 is slightly misleading in that it doesn't overwhelm. The aromatics are solid. What you expect. Cao continues to deliver.
5 out of 5
This one is unusual and unique. An overall cool smoke, low on the bite, and a two part taste and smell. At first, it's cherry in both taste and room notes. After a little while, the notes of vanilla seem to become more dominant. An excellent choice for rotation.

Nice burn…smooth vanilla smell….serious agtertaste!!!!!

excellent cherry pipe tobacco
5 out of 5
Excellent cherry tobacco. Reminds me of the priest that would walk the school halls while smoking a pipe with cherry tobacco.
5 out of 5
Very mild. Pleasant. Not overly strong cherry flavor as the name would suggest.
5 out of 5
When I preyed the tin open I was greeted with a scintillating aroma that made my eyebrows and senses rise. It was like BAM! Like a "Drill Sargent" shouting "A-TEN-SION!" WOW! Now I know why it's called "CHERRY BOMB" Gently I pulled back the paper, hands trembling I selected my favorite pipe, packed it loosely. I Notice the black cavendish looked as if it was burnt black. I took a deep breath & lit it. First draw was nice, 2nd draw, very mild. I held my pipe up to catch the back draft and noticed a bit of vanilla change over to cherry! Man this was great! I'm going to smoke this when I'm just relaxing to calm down at the end of the day! (Did you say something honey?) (Huh, what?)
4 out of 5
CAO Cherrybomb is undoubtedly a top brand. It is nice burn, smooth taste and I like this blend. Only reason for not providing 5 star is I prefer a mixed blend with black Cavendish and Virgina.
5 out of 5
I am not a heavy smoker. Once in a while I like to sit on my porch late at night and enjoy this brand.
It is very aromatic and great tasting.
I may try others in the months to come but for now this is my go to smoke.
5 out of 5
I'm an aromatic guy. It brings back memories. That said, I want a full flavor, a big ole mouthful of smoke, hopeful for little to no mouth bite. This is a great choice! Absolutely great! Full bodied flavor - not to even mention the delicious tin note and room note!
5 out of 5
This tobacco has the best flavor of cherry that I've ever smoked.
5 out of 5
Good cherry flavor and the vanilla is a really nice subnote. Will keep some handy, but when I want xherry, ai go for the Cult Blood Red Moon. CAO makes some great styff. This is in my top.5
5 out of 5
I love this, best flavor for a new piper i also tried the battle with the Cult Blood Red Moon, i found that the flavor of the blood red moon was not as strong had a bland taste compared to the cherry bomb as well as the room note from the blood red was not very good.

probably my favorite tobacco

Extremely nice cherry flavor and easy burning.

There are a LOT of clinchers that seem to start smoking because they had a paternal or maternal grandfather who smoked a pipe. Guilty ... I am one of these, though also influenced by other forces in my life like Sammuel Clemens and Sherlock Homes (of course), Leonard Nimoy, Army Chaplain Emil Kapaun to name a few.
But, it's to my Grampa I remember the smell of his black cherry tobacco that I turned. I have tried a few but nothing seems to leave the scent like CAO's Cherrybomb.
It an easy smoke. Loads and packs nicely, it burns evenly and easily last 30+ minutes a bowl.
I do highly recommend you give Cherrybomb a try.
5 out of 5
Tried this because another brand I wanted was sold out. This is actually a refreshing draw of cherry and vanilla that isn’t too bitter. The taste is great without a filter, and with a Dr. Perl charcoal filter, it still tastes good. Think I may switch to this. The tobacco does need some drying time so set it aside for about 30-45 mins to get the best flavor.
5 out of 5
Great cherry selection with little to no tongue bite if you pack and smoke properly.
4 out of 5
Smooth and sweet
5 out of 5
This great blend is smooth and very pleasant. Love the cherry notes and vanilla.
5 out of 5
This cherry blend has a strong cherry tin note similar to brachs cherry candies, but is all in all fairly subtle in the smoke. I like to mix it with a small amount of spc plum pudding barrel aged and it reminds me of a cherry coke and bourbon.
5 out of 5
Smooth blend, not too sweet with great room note and after taste.
5 out of 5
This is a blessed wonder, it tastes like the cherry bomb candy balls with gum inside. It has less of a casing taste than even Lane Very Cherry, and is deep and smells as amazing as it tastes! The occasional hint of vanilla is a cherry on top keeping the smoke light and delicious, burns down well with no pipe dottle or goop. Smokes cool and slow, and when the wind hit the pipe The flavor was good without scorch, what a fantastic tobacco blend! I prefer it over Cult Blood Red Moon, both are good but holy COA this is the best. If give this a 5 star and Cult Blood Red Moon a 7 or 8 with Lane tied with Cult.
3 out of 5
Have always loved the cigars, wonderful flavor and great aromatic. These are not as good in my opinion when it comes to the aromatics but it smokes really well and it is a great switch from the normal but more subtle than I was expecting. I would recommend just be aware that while it is does have a good flavor, it doesn't have the same punch as it's sibling.
3 out of 5
Good as expected
5 out of 5
Very moist in the tin, and had to set out for 30-45 minutes before packing. It is an excellent smoke, and the flavor is not overpowering. The room note turns heads.

Over the years I've experimented with a wide variety of tobaccos, not so much in search of what I like, because I haven't met one yet I didn't like at least a little, but more to broaden my experience and train my palette. The CAO aros are good, reliable, all-day smokes that taste good, smell good, and are usually appreciated by those who don't normally appreciate the aroma of tobacco smoke. I like my tobaccos drier that most do, but in my experience, these smoke better and bite less after at least a good half hour to hour's drying time, otherwise they can bite a little if you're not careful. The flavors are definitely noticeable, but you can still taste the tobacco. The vitamin N is at the mild level. If you want more of a kick, these tobaccos mix well with non-aro burley blends or VAs. These (Bella Vanilla, Cherry Bomb, etc.) are good, middle of the road, reliable, all-day aros that aren't way over the top and don't produce too much goop.
4 out of 5
It is okay but is not as good as Cult's Blood Red Moon. It lacks the "cherry", not quite a smooth as Blood Red Moon, and has some tongue bite
5 out of 5
Great tobacco cool smoke without the “perfume” note that some cherry blends have.
3 out of 5
Taste like drugstore pouch tobaco. Topping has a artificial perfume type flavor and after taste.
4 out of 5
I am revising my earlier review dated December 6. After smoking more of the tin, I find it much less "in your face." I have now smoked most of the tin and it has definitely grown on me. So much so that I ordered some more. If I had my guess as to why, it seems to be a little more mellow after letting it alone for a few weeks. I didn't leave i exposed to the air or dry it any though. I'll see how it goes from here.
3 out of 5
This blend has a very striking and strong cherry scent. It's too much for unsmoked tobacco. The taste while smoking is no where near as overwhelming as the scent from the tin. I will pass on this one in the future but the other CAO tobacco's are not this way especially CAO Black!
5 out of 5
Really good smoke, the aroma and taste are amazing

Delightfully smooth with a great finish of Cherry on the back end. Very enjoyable.

Just got this blend, literally just picked it up from post like 15 minutes ago. Smokes cool, definite vanilla taste, some cherry but not overwhelming. Great room note, that's where I can smell cherry. In a brand new churchwarden cob it's nice. Not candy sweet, no bite, no bad aftertaste like alot of the cherry blends. Not my favorite, but still very good.
4 out of 5
A good cherry blend. I normally don’t smoke cherry but decided to get the CAO’s brand. It had a good room note and a smooth flavor. I smoked it at a lounge and received a few compliments on the aroma. No chemical aftertaste for me as I have read others have experienced. Smoke it slow and enjoy.
5 out of 5
I enjoy the room note
4 out of 5
Good flavor, smooth smoke. Had trouble keeping it lit though.

Great flavor, burns well all the way to the bottom of the bowl. The cherry flavoring is not too overpowering. I have added this to my regular rotation.

Great room note, flavor is reminiscent of a tart cherry
3 out of 5
A little too mild for me. As a cigar its great as pipe tobacco need something stronger
3 out of 5
The tobacco wasn't my taste but my father smoked it and loved it I just prefer colt blood red moon
5 out of 5
With a name like “Cherry Bomb” I expected a bold cherry flavor. If that is what you are looking for, you are likely to be disappointed. However, I have come to enjoy CAO Cherry Bomb very much for what it is - a very light, pleasant smoke, light vanilla with a hint of soft cherry. Burns cool and leaves a soft, lightly sweet flavor on the palate. I enjoy it in the morning after coffee. I’ve tried most of the so-called cherry aromatics and none of them really deliver the cherry flavor. The best however, imho, is Cult “Blood Red Moon.” BRM is a chocolate / cherry combo, but it has a true, bold cherry flavor softened by chocolate. However, as I said, CAO Cherry Bomb is very enjoyable for what it is.
4 out of 5
A good smoke with your morning coffee
4 out of 5
The room note is delightful. The cherry-vanilla flavor is very subtle, perhaps even more of an aftertaste or taste-by-aroma. The smoke is mild. It seemed to want to burn a little hot, but that was easily manageable by taking it slow and sipping. I let my pipe go out a few times on purpose to let it cool down. I'm thinking of blending this one with CAO BellaVanilla to make "my own" aromatic house blend to share with friends. I might add another cool burning non-virginia to the blend to round it out and give it some spice. Just thinking out loud.
5 out of 5
I love this blend !! It's like smoking a sugar cube dipped in cherry juice. It's never goopy or too wet. The black Cavendish is perfect and sweet on its own, then the cherry is just ,, well ,, the cherry on top.. LOL! Love it so much
Thanks CAO Thanks P&C

Quality tobacco, but not for me, not what I expected
4 out of 5
It’s good. It’s like a treat every once in a while.
4 out of 5
I enjoyed it better than blood moon. Well mix of flavors and did not taste like chopstick cherry.
2 out of 5
Won't buy again...It's NOT the cherrybomb that the name implies.
I only gave (2 stars), because of the great price..
5 out of 5
A smooth flavored smoke. Not too sweet but mellow.
3 out of 5
Expected more cherry
4 out of 5
I bought this while it was on sale, as a cigar smoker as well I enjoyed the CAO brand. I expected with a name like "Cherrybomb" it would be rich in cherry flavor. Although it has the smell of sheesha it isn't nearly as Cherry as I had imagined. However it has a nice flavor and as with all CAO tobaccos, it burns VERY NICE! My only issue would be I was looking for a much stronger cherry flavor, but this has a nice mellow one with a great room note. Will most likely buy this when on sale to keep in my rotation.
3 out of 5
Not the same asCult Blood Red Moon
5 out of 5
Very nice flavor from start to finish. No bite with a great aroma. I would say one of the best cherrys I have tried!
Great service on delivery. I will order more.

CAO cherry bomb is ok but I prefer cult blood red moon

I really like this tobacco. However, I there is a metallic taste that I notice every now and again. I will continue looking for another cherry pipe tobacco.
2 out of 5
Tastes like a cherry Halls
5 out of 5
This tobacco is the only cherry blend I've ever smoked that is very smooth. No bite at all. Very flavorful. Good all day, but I use it as a dessert smoke.
5 out of 5
Very good blend, no tongue bite, very pleasent room note. Love the vanilla cherry flavor
4 out of 5
Got this in the "Art of Flavour" kit. The best of the three aromatics. A sweet cherry room note, sweet cherry flavor, and it smokes down decently for a cheaper aromatic. I'm newer to pipe smoking and have since switched to English blends and VaPers as my go-tos, but this is likely an aromatic I'd revisit and even recommend to new smokers.
3 out of 5
As a fledgling smoker, I am currently enjoying aromatics. This tobacco was not as flavorful as I was hoping. More of a bland, "egh", taste to me. I would not purchase again.
4 out of 5
This review is from a novice smoker, who prefers aromatics. This tobacco has a smooth taste when smoked. Not too tobacco-ee. I'll finish the tin, but would not purchase again, as I prefer other brands like Casey Jones Last Ride.
5 out of 5
Very nice cherry flavor and tin note. not my favorite but i would suggest giving it a try
4 out of 5
Great Flavor, Great Tin note. Wife says it smells like cigarettes.

I have found Cherrybomb to be an excellent smoking tobacco. It burns nice and even and it is very mild and has a very pleasant aroma to boot. I would recommend this tobacco to any individual looking for a mild yet pleasant tasting smoke.

not as aromatic as I had hoped. nor as flavorful.

A great smoke, nice aroma . A mild cool with no bite smoke .

Very wet and not a good flavor at all. Would recommend only as a gift to some one you do not like that is a smoker.

I got the cherry soap flavor also maybe there are some bad tins out there and I got one, but what I got is unsmokeable.and I like a strong flavor.

My husband is really enjoying the flavor of
Cherrybomb.
5 out of 5
I am not typically an aromatic smoker and certainly don't like Cherry flavoring but this one has something different going on. It has a real cherry flavor without the bad aftertaste most seem to give me. When I want a fruit flavor this is what I order.
5 out of 5
I'm gonna give this one 5 stars because it lives up to its name. This is a very-cherry pipe tobacco with moderate tobacco taste and strength. I have gotten a nice consistent cherry escence in the smoke each time, and that's how it's billed - Cherry!! The best cherry blend I have tried to date.
5 out of 5
Precisely what I was looking for. Let's see what the wife says!
3 out of 5
I must admit, I am brand new to pipe smoking. But with a name like "Cherrybomb" I expected to it to have a much greater cherry aroma and taste. I believe this blend is ok, just wish it had a little more character to it.
5 out of 5
I think this is a fantastic cherry tobacco, the best cherry I can find. I'm very new to pipes and I'm a lady pipe enthusiast thanks to my dad...but he and I love this blend and I always keep some of it around! If you like a flavorful but not sweet aromatic, you'll like it.
1 out of 5
Bought this as part of "Staff Picks" sampler. I loved them all EXCEPT this one. As promised it had a great room note, but the flavor was like cherry SOAP!! I have tried several bowls in different pipes, all with the same taste. It is possible I got a bad tin, as Quality Control seems a little loose (from comments by others).
4 out of 5
Kinda wet a goopy. Had to relight a couple of time in my corn cob pipe. Taste is good and aroma is great. Recommend letting it air out a bit due to the wetness
4 out of 5
I ordered this since I have enjoyed a couple of the other CAO "Flavours" aromatics. Great tin and room note, and unlike the old Cherry Blend that tasted nothing like cherry and made my mouth so raw I couldn't drink ice water this has a nice taste and no bite. Cherry Bomb won't be my all day everyday smoke but I will keep a tin around for the occasional change of pace. Try it, not bad at all!
5 out of 5
Best Cherry I've ever smoked. Very smooth and flavorful with no bite. It's good for a dessert smoke or all day!
4 out of 5
I bought 2 tins of this at my local B&M for $25. It's much cheaper at P&C. I find this tobacco to be a good smoke. I'm new to pipes and found this to be one of the blends to keep on hand while I continue to sample others. Not a bad smoke for a newb.
