Bought on a whim; I am ordering more. I'm not good on discerning particular flavors, just whether I like it or not. I like it. Quality tobacco at a good price. Fills and lights readily. I like the sweet but not too sweet quality. Makes for a pleasant, regular smoke. Reminds me of my "drug store" go-to brand: different flavor but similar qualities. Only without the "mass produced" additives. I found myself just sticking the big can in my coat pocket despite the bulk to have it with me more and more. (Four stars is not a bad rating from me. I reserve 5 for my staple smokes and the mythical "Longbottom Leaf". Below 3 I won't buy again. 3 tends to be "Good tobacco but not to my taste." 4 I'll buy again and really enjoy, even if it's not a "go to".)

Erinmore mixture is a treat of a tobacco. From first light it has tang and a good bit of citrus, with a laid back, easy smoking quality. Floral, a little sour, pleasantly sweet all the way down. It feels tropical to me. I reach for it on a beach trip everytime. Even with a good dose of topping, there is no loss of old school tobacco taste. The tin is huge. Underrated in my opinion.

An excellent Virginia, but pricey when compared to some others, which are just as good and much cheaper. I’ll still buy it because I love both the casing and the history/image. It was, supposedly, Tolkien’s favorite (the flake).

Only thing that goes in the Kaywoodie churchwarden. Very enjoyable.

Smoked Gold Block For decades until I couldn’t get it anymore; then switched to Erinmore. No regrets

But then switched to erinmore 20+ years ago. Delightful easy smoke at the end of a hard day

Wanted something that was easy to smoke and tasted like tobacco but not going to offend my wife. This did as good a job as any. I don’t care for aromatic tobaccos typically, however, this did not feel like a typical aromatic. I have smoked the flake version for a pretty long time. This is similar but a little more accessible as an all day smoke. Good stuff.

Have used Erinmore for many years. Good before bed smoke, pleasant aroma, smokes dry, burns smoothly.

Erinmore…...aaah….. Erinmore. A classic aromatic. I can remember my dad praising it's flavor more than 50 years ago. Some things are timeless and Erinmore is one of those things. Not too strong or sweet. Excellent quality tobacco and a flavor that compliments, not cloaks the tobacco. One of my rotation blends for years and will continue to be into the future.

Once again the effort to resurrect a great old tobacco has failed. This Danish effort doesn't smell like the original nor does it taste like the original. For those who remember the wonderful aroma and flavor of Erinmore, you will be disappointed as I was.

It's a little harsh compared to my favorite 1Q!

Same as the title!

I enjoy trying a multitude of different tobaccos and have come to judge them simply by how long it takes me to finish a tin. I can't keep this stuff around for any appreciably length of time! It's gentle, subtly flavored and stays well lit. One of my non-English favorites.

My husband loves it

Enough flavour to make this one a go-to- full-time-rotation. I really like the aroma of this even smoke. This is a very well thought out blend.

Smokes well and has a nice room note and a fruity flavor. I don't care for the cut, It's a bit to fine fot my liking.

This blend has always been a wonderfully complex aromatic. I've enjoyed it for about 40 years. Since it's no longer blended in Belfast but in Copenhagen, the flavor is not as pungent. However the fruity taste can still be tasted. This mixture is reasonably priced for the exceptional quality.
