Fit all of my 6mm pipes just fine. They cut be cut shorter if needed. They don't have the plastic sleeve, but I haven't had any problems with it. Gives a nice smooth draw with little or no added restriction. P&C has the best price on these filters that I have seen.

Excellent filters for Missouri Meershaum corn cob pipes. Take out moisture and tars. Fit perfect, get about 4 smokes per filter. When they turn brown remove and discard. Great price.

There are several brands of filters out there and I have tried them all. The thing about the Medico brand is that it always fits in my pipe. They hold their tolerances better than other brands. I don't have to worry if the filter is going to be too large to fit or too small to filter properly.

Works great in a cob, keeps the moisture in check for a cool, sweet smoke with my burley codger tobacco. Used to throw these away 50 years ago...now I wonder why, as these improve the enjoyment of a pipe smoke.

Been using these since '62, best product of its type. Usually don't favor a paper filter, but Medico's the best there is. DeMuth was good, but they're LONG gone. If you like a paper pipe filter, get Medico. Better than rolling up a hunk of paper and tucking it in the stem like we poor boys did in the old days.

The plastic film was freq. partially unraveled, plus they are a tight fit in my cob pipes (MM). The Dr. Graybo filters seem to draw and fit much better, but you were sold out, so I order a carton on these. They work, they get a 3 star at best.

Medico filters are ok, but it seems that Dr. Grabow filters are a bit better fit and trap more of everything, and at the same time _last longer. Especially in my Churchwardens.

I can’t tell much difference between Medico and the competition. They both act as they should and should be replaced after maybe two uses depending upon what you’re smoking. They’re a must in a Missouri Meerschaum. The only other filter pipes I own use 9 mm filters. I’ll buy Medico without hesitation.

A couple of thousands smaller than grabow, these filters seem to fit best for Missouri meerchaum cob pipes, but are great for all 6mm stems. No complaint.. Koyote Mark.....

I’m a filter smoker and the medicos are affordable enough to throw 3-4 boxes in when I order. I use each one 2 to 3 times max and they work great in my MM cobs. Highly recommend. Only order here at p&c!!

Not as good as they used to be. Originally they had a plastic wrapper around each filter, which kept them from coming apart! Nothing worse than trying to dig one out! Dr. Grabow is the same way though.

What is there to say honestly? They're the Medico pipe filter's that pipe smokers have used for years. I can't vouch for any medical claims, but they certainly catch a bunch of gunk, and moisture, and help keep any loose tobacco from flying up your stem. I personally like them, maybe you won't. Give them a try though, you may as well for the price.

I find the MEDICO filters fit better in my Missouri Meerschaum pipes than the DR GRAWBOW filters. I like them and I cannot find a place to buy them locally. I will be ordering again soon.

I bought both Medico Filters & Dr. Grabow filters and both worked well, while smoking I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. But, the Medico filters are maybe an 1/8" shorter, and half as thick. The Grabow filters are more substantial, and can absorb more moisture. And depending on the tobacco you are smoking, the Grabow filters last a bowl longer.

They are OK, but you can't really use them beyond maybe 2x. They get too soaked. Prefer the balsa ones. However if you have money to burn and throw them away after one or two times they are OK.

These filters work great and fit perfect into corn cob pipes. I have no issues with them at all and they seem to last 2-3 pipe packs before needing replacement. I must also note that the fit is much easier than Grabows which I had to jam and twist into the corn cobs for them to fit. I will continue buying this brand for my cobs as I have nothing bad to say about them.
