Great tobacco!

mild pleasing tobacco

The tobacco is fairly damp. It does not burn hot. I think the damp agent is propylene glycol, which is a common food ingredient approved by the federal Food And Drug Administration (FDA). Mellow is the correct name. It does not scorch my throat. To keep the embers burning requires attention so more time is needed to smoke a bowl, which is fine with me. I smoke a little less over an hour. I smoke nothing else. I wish I had a cigar with the same damping agent.

I have been smoking this wonderful mix for over a year. It has a wonderful aromatic smell when smoked and there is no bite - just a wonderful taste. I have recommended this "Mellow Blend" to friends who have also found it a good-great smoke. Try the pouch and see for yourself.

I've enjoyed smoking my pipes and an occasional cigar (sorry but I can't take the smell of cigarettes) for over the past 40 years. This is my current main daily smoking tobacco - that's the tobacco you normally like to use in your pipes ( aka "Daily Smoke"). It has a cool smoke with a rather pleasant aroma that most people compliment me on. I have even had both men and women walking through a parking lot divert over to ask me about the aroma and the name of the pipe tobacco. I also like the nicotine level in this smoke along with it's NO BITE that many other pipe tobacco's have. I myself enjoy smoking this "SUPER VALUE - MELLOW" pipe tobacco all-day and into the night as it is after all a GooD Value Smoke.

I have found the Mellow Yellow pipe tobacco to be the best in the business. Not only is the tobacco a good taste but the best in the market for no after taste. I have smoked a pipe for some 50 years and have found this to be the best.

I have been looking for that "one" tobacco that you can enjoy every time, sweet taste, and a good stable base tobacco. After 30+ years of smoking a pipe and trying everything from cheap to costly - I settled on this treasure of a smoke. Try it, you just might like it as much as I have.

I was looking for a tobacco that had a nice aroma and was not too strong. I found this tobacco to be virtually odorless and a bit intoxicating. I shy away from brands that leave me light headed, so I will not be buying this brand again.

Affordably priced, mild flavored. My usual brand of choice!

Not very mello. Black Cavendish is my fav

I believe it contains propylene glycol which is an FDA approved food additive. The smoke is much lower in temperature resulting in a very great reduction in scorching to my hard pallet. My dentist is amazed at the improvement in my soft mouth tissues. The tobacco is somewhat damp and likes to go out frequently. That is acceptable to me.

veery good after one drys it out in fact all forms have to be dryed , to much water is added that cause them to be hot an burn your tongue

Mellow, it is, and with a mild aroma. BUT, too many stem pieces and hard pieces. Will not purchase again.

Since ordering the Super Value pipe tobacco my husband has been surprised and pleased with speed he gets his order. One time I ordered the Mellow instead of his regular Vanilla and now he prefers the Mellow. I also love the convenience ordering online.

Only wish the "Ultra Mild" pouches came in a larger size>

I have been smoking Super Value tobacco since good store brands have become scarce and I went looking online. I am very pleased with the mild smoke and pleasant taste and aroma. I will continue to order it at a very attractive price.

Bit harsh, but pleasant overall. Aromatics not overdone - a good balance of flavors.

Tasteless. I'll dry it out and use it in the bottom half of a bowl to soak up the moisture.

Easy burning, mild tobacco,...... and inexpensive compared to tobacco shops. Good everyday smoke. Service is always accurate and swift.

I am still a new smoker. I like the smell of a good tobacco. I have another order coming. I am trying to find that flavor. I used to roll my own ciggs. I still like it, only now I use the tobbacco and not a real need for inhaleing. My breathing is better now also. Thank You for the service you give. Frank M.

My favorite of the Super Value line! Needs to be dried out a bit. Actually dried quite a bit for my taste. Very mild, not too sweet. Good all day blend. Smoother to me than PA, and even CH.
