Maple Street Stroll Smoke

Great smoke. Flavor and aroma are just right and it burns slow so you can enjoy it longer. I smoked it on a long walk on a cool knight and it was great. Good to have a couple on hand.

This tobacco surprised me. It's a very good smoke. No bite, great aroma, mild taste. Burns well. I loaded up my Parker and went for a long stroll on a cold night and it lasted the whole way (2 miles)!Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Great room note. Didn’t quite get the “pancake” note some have described but definitely a winner for those around. Good overall flavor. Very mild, very little bite. Would recommend drying a bit before using. I found it to be a bit too wet to use right away, with out a few re-lights

Maple street is a good maple tobacco. Mild maple flavoring. You really have to be puffing away to get it to bite. I wish it had a little more maple to it.

Very mild, smooth, but satisfying blend. I wanted, and expected a bit more maple flavor, but the Rum was the front runner on tin note, and flavor... Actually, when smoked the rum, and maple are less present, however somehow the room note smells very good. I am a big fan of Sutliff, and I like this blend, just wanted a little more punch and flavor! still solid though, nothing 'bad' about it.

I really enjoyed this blend. Especially in the mornings after eating a big breakfast with eggs and bacon and of course, big pancakes with lots of maple syrup. Smoking this blend is almost like having a second breakfast.

Very mice maple flavor which is fine by me. My just be me but seemed to be a hint of rum. A little dry time and your ready to go. That's common with Sutliff But it hits the spot with me.

Wonderful morning and mid-day smoke. Maple flavor is not overpowering, becomes nicely present more so during middle of bowl - very satisfying. Second half of bowl is when i noticed the rum kicking in, and that complex flavor profile very much held my attention throughout. Went through a tin with friends in 3 days time, and I'll be ordering more soon to ensure steady supply.

Pipe smoking should be an indulgent, aromatic experience 4 the smoker, as well as anyone walking through the room. This tobacco delivers that and more. No bite, a delightfully sweet maple flavor that's not overpowering, and one of the best room notes in the business. It's the perfect after dinner smoke on a cold Winter's Night.

Maple Street tobacco is very tasty as well as Molto Dolce. Both are very sweet kinda like a cinnamon roll in the morning.

Molto Dolce + Maple Street = Fantastic blend! I mixed one 'tin' of Maple Street with one of Molto Dolce (both from Sutliff) and wound up with a no bite, good tasting and GREAT smelling aromatic. As another reviewer commented, "They compliment each other amazingly and it really helps with the moisture of the Molto Dolce." It's my every day smoke from now on. I was scared this would taste like a McGriddle when I ordered it, but it it did not. I'm an aromatic lover, and I found the rum and maple casings to be well balanced with the natural flavors of the burley and Virginia tobaccos. Smooth, but smoked on the hot side.

very nice aroma, not very much maple smell or taste to me it was very mild but the room note is pleasing. this was only my 2nd pipe smoking experience so I can't compare it to others or give a in-depth review but I will most likely continue to buy unless i find a stronger maple tobacco. It was enjoyable

Great overall smoke. This was one of the first tobaccos I purchased over a year ago and I keep coming back. Don't get me wrong, I still try lots of others, but I keep this one on hand. It has a great room note that always draws compliments. It has a great sweet maple taste and not overpowered by the rum. It is perfect for autumn evenings sitting on the back porch watching the leaves fall. I would highly recommend this one, especially if you're searching for maple.

First Time Smoking Sutliff Private Stock Maple Street, For A aromatic it's ok. No big wow factor. The room note is pleasant, The smoke is cool and mellow. I was able to light and burn right out of the tin, No waiting for moisture to dry. The taste reminds me of Breakfast with pancakes and syrup. I can see it being a good Morning smoke with Coffee, has some tartness on the tongue, but no bite to mention. Not a bad blend, but I like more flavorful Tobaccos, its hard to get good taste out of Aromatics when I am so used to full bodied blends.

Smells like maple syrup-infused rum. The smoke is quite light, and doesn't bite very much at all. It's moist out of the tin, however, and may require a few relights. A decent room note. Sweet like Captain Black. Low nicotine content. Quite sweet.

Opening the tin you get a strong rum smell. Needs no drying time. Perfect as is. Smoked in a new MM Eaton pipe. Not a lot going on in the first quarter, but then hints of Maple kick in and stays with you till the end. A little bit of Rum taste, but it stays in the back. Stays very well lit. A great all day smoke. Great taste for you, great smell for others. I don't doubt that people people will hang around you just so you can blow smoke in their face.

If you are looking for a good Maple aromatic, this is it. I have tried several and none of them actually tasted of maple, at least to me. This blend is mild and mellow, with a delicious light aroma of maple. I believe this blend consists primarily of burley, which is another plus for me.
