I ordered a five pack of these cigars in the lancero size. They are fine. The flavor is pretty good, the construction is pretty good. The wrappers looked a little rustic, but certainly not bad. These would not be my go to if I was going to sit by myself and contemplate life and its intricacies, but for working around the yard or sitting around a campfire, they will certainly get the job done, and they are certainly adequate for a night hanging around with the guys when the focus is on fun and camaraderie, and not the ultra premium cigar.

Compare with Partagas Maduro Gigante

The Partagas Maduro Gigante to me is the "gold standard" but to pricey. I was looking for a reasonable alternative. It is less than half the price but does lack the quality. Since I only permit myself one a day I guess I will have to go with the Partagas!
