Admiral's Choice Cherry Cavendish is a mixture of Burley and Virginia, along with silky black Cavendish with a bright note of cherry flavor. Although the room note is distinctly cherry and very pleasant, the flavor in this Admiral’s Choice tobacco is more subtle with a softer cherry note coming through. One of the best values in packaged pipe tobacco, Admiral's Choice Cherry Cavendish is a mellow to medium blend that is a real crowd-pleaser. This savory aromatic burns well making for a great all-day smoke.
Very wet . Open and let dry for 3 days, then a good mixer.
For as long as I can remember, I've always enjoyed the smell of a cherry blended smoke, although I never could put up with the bite. I proud to say my gamble paid off when I tried this blend. It's a bit damp but a couple of hours drying and it smokes great. Great aroma and delicious taste. Thanks P&C!
I got a bag of the Admiral's Choice Cherry Cavendish for my friend who is a long time Cherry tobacco smoker. I have not tried it (not a fan of aromatics) But my friend told me the Admiral's Choice is better than Lane Very Cherry and several other cherry blends he has tried. Half a pound for less than $10, seems like a good deal to me.
My favorite tobacco so far, I just started smoking pipe tobacco but this was a lucky first pick for me. It has a slight cherry taste on the first light, and is smooth but still a good mild hit. Every day at work I get anxious cause I can't wait to get home and smoke this.
