Blending - Longcut Virginia

I like this sweet ribbon cut Virginia for those times when I want bring out a caramel note or add a bit of brightness without sharpness. The mixture of colors keeps the tobacco from being too acidic or heavy. It is low in nicotine, burns moderately.

This is a good smoke
This is a good smoke by itself or blended with other tobaccos. It hits all the notes you expect out of a VA. Makes a tasty cigarette as well.

I like to mix my
I like to mix my own blends and this is my go-to Virginia component. Mellow, smooth, burns well and combines with Orientals and Latakia into excellent English type recipes.

very good quality smoke
Excellent addition to a custom RYO blend, or on its own: mellow, slightly sweet, minimal bite

I like Latakia and generally
I like Latakia and generally blend with Peter Stokkebye 701. As it was on B/O I thought I would try this Virginia. Nice aroma in the jar and a nice blending cut. Brighter than the P/S 701 but no bite. Darker in color not sure what that means as far as Virginia blends maybe dried longer. Would buy again. Being a 50 year pipe smoker I now lean toward milder blends.

Winner
I love this as a base for VaPers when I'm feeling too lazy to balance yellow and red Virginia in a blend. Also, blend this 50% with 30% black Cavendish and 20% dark fired Kentucky for a strong smoke with an awesome sweet room note. Thank me later, but be sitting down because it may grab you by the boo-boo

Blends well
A good choice for those making their own smoking blend.

Great In A Burley Blend
This Virginia is slower/cooler burning but has a great slightly sweet flavor that tones down burley. I used this in a VaPerBur blend just recently and I found it to be the perfect companion to the Burley and Perique, smoothing the blend out and melding all of the flavors very well.

This Is Really Good Tobacco
An exceptional Virginia. Blends very well with Latakia, Smyrna, and Perique. Excellent. Nothing else to add, other than if blended, solely with Perique, it makes an excellent VaPer. Highly recommended.

Base for a good blend
I have been dabbling with blending my own tobacco for a few years now. Since most of the blends that I like are Virginia based blends, be it English, vaper, or straight Virginia, I began blending my own with a Virginia at the core. The longcut has just the right amount of sweetness and burns moderately slow, making it just right for a blend to match my taste.

Good quality tobacco
I'm using this along with lots of other blending tobaccos to experiment with blending my own. So far I like the bite-free sweetness it adds to the mix.

Customer Testimonials
There is a lot of great tobacco flavor in this leaf. If you smoke it alone don't pack it too tight and draw easy or it will burn your tongue, as it does burn rather fast and hot. I blend it with Green River black Cavendish or Latakia or both to slow the burn rate and add fullness. I also added it to a blend to which I had added too much Izmir and it softened that blend just fine. I sometimes like a nice full flavored, medium high nicotine blend, so I'm thinking of this virginia with a little dark burley and let it set with some cloves and orange peels for a few weeks.
