C’est La Vie means “That’s life!”, and this smooth and satisfying, richly aromatic blend will definitely bring your taste buds to life. Made mostly of the finest flue-cured tobaccos, it is gently pressed and cut in the traditional Cavendish method. This process infuses the leaf with a richly sweet and creamy note of French vanilla flavor. Even though the enrapturing aroma will fill the room, the taste is remarkably subtle, and it’s wonderfully easy on the tongue. Take yourself on an intriguing Parisian vacation with the goodness of C’est La Vie.
This stuff is as gentle as a lamb. I say give it a try when you are in the mood for a (mild) change of pace or to gently slip into the new day. Also, P & C's prices are always fair, especially for this blend. JU Cincinnati, Ohio
Many of the aromatics turn me off such as Stanwell's which are just too aromatic. I found C'est La Vie to be surprisingly good. Great with a cup of coffee after breakfast.
New to pipe smoking, but I found this blend to be EXCELLENT! Great pouch aroma, mild and cool smoking, no tongue bite even when smoked hard, and it burns thoroughly. I really like this blend and would definitely buy it again.
Adequate. 6 out of 10 in aromatics
I found this blend to be best smoked slow. The true aroma and flavor come through if you don't puff fast. Overall not a bad blend but would have never tried it if it wasn't given to me.
As far as pouch brands go this one is just okay. Smells great in the pouch, like vanilla, but I could not smell or taste vanilla when I smoked it. Very minor to no tongue bite which is always good. Would be nice if it was a finer cut because the pieces are kind of long. If you want a good aromatic pouch brand go with Erin Go Bragh or Captain Black.
