Erik Espinosa has made some impressive cigars, such as 601 and Murcielago. Now he's developed something extra-special. So much so that he feels that the blend works best in only one shape, and after trying one, I can see his point.
Comfortably Numb by Espinosa Vol. 1 is made in Espinosa's La Zona Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, and he selected very specific Nicaraguan long-fillers to achieve perfect balance. The cigars are draped in a chocolate-brown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, delivering a medium-bodied experience with notes of coffee, sweet wood, nuts, earth, and smooth spice. If you're a fan of any of his earlier work, you're going to fall in love with Comfortably Numb by Espinosa Vol. 1.
