I recently purchased this sampler.. having never tried Davidoff tobaccos in the past. Royalty is pretty good but, nothing special. Danish, Scottish and English mixtures are rubbish. Flake Medallions, I've yet to try. Probably saving the best for last. Dunhill has me spoiled. Davidoff and Dunhill = no comparison.

I love Latakia blends. This blend is light in the Latakia, but for me it has a quite good tin note, taste and room note. This could be a buy again for me.

good sweet tobacco smell in the tin, but for me no taste while smoking whatsoever. I will not buy this blend again.
I wouldn't buy the Davidoff Luxury Pipe Tobacco Sampler again but I would buy a few of the blends. That said Give it a try you may like what I hated and hate what I liked about this sampler.

Strange to say, but Davidoff has created some blends that are better than the new Dunhill crop of impostors, and almost as good as the classic blends Dunhill used to make. Scottish Blend is especially tasty.
