One of my all-time favorite
One of my all-time favorite English blends. Very well balanced, moderate latakia, distinctive Orientals, a replacement for Dunhill's London mixture. This is a blend in my daily rotation.

Well Balanced and Interesting Smoke!
An Oriental forward English/Balkan blend with a tasty Virginia complemented by the Latakia.

Westminster... A traditional English blend.
For those of you who yearn for flavors similar to those you could get back in the 1970s and 1980s, this blend should appeal to you. The Virginias and Orientals are very balanced, while the Latakia plays more of a supporting role, and is rather subtle to my tastes, but definitely shows it's presence. A fine mixture which should please both the beginner and seasoned smoker.

Highly recommended English
Definitely my favorite English blend (so far). It is extraordinarily we'll balanced. Very pleasant "everyday" smoke.

This was to correct an
This was to correct an incomplete pipe tobacco order. You see, the G.L. Pease Westminster never arrived with the original order. Don't know why this was, but your operator was extremely understanding and helpful. Thanks much. Bill

Good Smoke
I strongly prefer classic english blends. Latakia, Oriental and Virgina. I enjoy Quiet Nights over this, but it's a top tier tobacco that I keep reaching for.

Latakia
If you like Latakia you will love this. I save it for my last evening smoke.

Close to Frog Morton original, minus something!!!
I love the richness of this smoke. I packed the bottom half of the bowl with westminister, and the top half with the last remaining of my beloved frog morton. As usual I was mesmerized by F.M, until it slowly transitioned to westminister in the bowl. I was surprised. It feels like frog morton, stripped of some sweetness, and some spice. That amazing spice in the F.M that hits your sinuses is much more subtle in the westminister. But both seem to have 90% mutual substrate. Look, I know my palate isn't developed, but I think I have found my F.M substitute. What if I add a pinch of Presbyterian to mostly westminister? Both are darlings of reformation plus the Presbyter may add that sweetness which is missing in westminister. What do you think?

The best English
I use Westminster in my English homebrew mixes. It is my favorite English commercially available. Pease is without a doubt the best blender working today.

Smooth for all day smoke.

Pure satisfaction, especially with a cuppa hot English tea
A very satisfying blend with a cool smoke and an array of smokey fruit flavours coming through. An all day smoke for me.

Nice!!
About half way down the Virginia gets sweet and smooth. Prior to that it's a nice delicate balance of interesting flavors. GL Pease really knows how to bring out nice flavors.

A fine, English blend
If you are a fan of mild English blends, this is a great one. Flavorful, all-day smoke. This one has earned a spot in my rotation.

This GL Pease is good but not for my taste. I will try some other blends from this company.

Great tobacco!
I purchased this tobacco about 3 weeks ago to give it a try, and it delivers a fantastic well balanced smoke. This one is a keeper in my pipe tobacco rotation.

Great tobacco!
Westminster is one of the best English blends I ever smoked, well balance, smooth, elegant and delicious mixture, better than many blends made in England. Highly recommended!

Delicious English
Smoky and strong with a little kick. Not the style you always want but when you do want something stronger, it's a great blend.

Very nice, medium blend good all-day.
Very good. I really enjoy this blend. It reminds me of Frog Morton on the Town, but without the basma. It's a really nice, medium-bodied latakia blend good any time of day.

Smokey and wonderful
Smokey, rich, and everything you want a on a brisk fall night. I was given a sample of this from a friend, and once finished I immediately ordered some and brought it into my rotation. Heavier on the Latikia side, but still those orientals find their way into the mix. I've heard this could be an all day smoke, but I usually like to end my day with it, the strength of the nic isn't going to push you over however, if you're looking for that I'd go with nightcap, but this is my "sit by the fire and contemplate writing the great american (or english, I guess?) novel" blend. Full flavored, and feels like you're sinking your teeth into a rich, and savory treat.

I Like This Style of Smoke
Over the past 2 - 3 years, I have tried 5 Gl Pease blends; Westminster is one of the first GL Pease tobaccos I have liked. My 5 star rating is based on the quality of the tobacco, easy of loading and lighting. I find it to be very similar to Drew Estate's "Meat Pie." I tend to enjoy this style of tobacco and as such have several similar blends. I guess if it wasn't for Westminster late to the party, I would purchase more to fill the cellar. But as such, and for myself, this product will be a welcomed guest on occasions.
