Pretty good alone, burn’s fast
Pretty good alone, burn’s fast . Set down pipe momentarily it’s ash. I mix with C&D black cavendish, then smooth and lasts in pipe.

Strong smelling.
The smell of the tobacco is a little harsh, but it isn't as strong when I smoke it. I would compare the smell to a nonflavored chew. The tin is cool, and it's packaged well. It burns about average to other tobacco. The smell is a bit strong in the tin.

Great
Was very surprised the first time I smoked a bowl full. Burned even and smooth with no tongue bite. I will add this to my daily smoke breaks.

Great taste and lots of smoke.
I was very pleased with this blend. I was always a fan of Gurkha cigars so I figured I’d give the pipe tobaccos a go. I purchased all three of their blends. I’ve only tried the rare breed so far and it was beyond my expectations. It has a great flavor that drastically changes once it gets hot ( I tend to smoke to fast occasionally lol) but no real bite from it. It puts off quite a bit of smoke. Smoked great from the top to the bottom.

Lives Up to Its Description
The description of this blend is spot on with one exception. There is just the hint of peppery spice which keeps this blend from being boring. Definitely a great finish to the day and to watch the sunset. If you like some variety in your line up without harshness, I would definitely recommend this. Another winner from Gurka and a delight to know that a favorite cigar maker can also make a wonderful pipe blend.

Glad I branched out. Fantastic
Love it. Very smoothly blended. I usually run the Peterson’s emp, Elizabethan, and my mix 965 and SG squadron leader. This is sweet and very pleasant. A bit of spice but fantastic blend that smells and smokes very smooth. I love the Gurkha line of cigars and this was a stern reminder of how they have never failed

A Different Kind of Smoke
First Bowl was not very pleasant for me, primarily because i had e expectations of a powerhouse smoke, based on my experience with Gurkha cigars. Expectations set aside and 5 bowls later, I found this to be a wonderfully enjoyable, however mild smoke. I get more f the Burley from the smoke enhanced by the smokey flavors of the Turkish, the two melding into a lovely nutty Melange. I enjoy it as a start of the day Smoke. Great for those looking to cross over to English style Tobacco's.

Strong, salty, and perfect for a late evening
I've had the pleasure to smoke several Latakia blends, and this one is hands-down the best I've ever smoked. Normally I shy away from blends that are really busy like this one because my palate isn't that sophisticated, but the Burley, Turkish, and Perique combine seamlessly with the Latakia to create a synergistic blend.

Gurkha rare breed
Not what expected from description, it was a bit harsh and left a bad taste in my mouth, I threw it out. But I still like Gurkha Cigars.
