J.F. Germain Royal Jersey Cavendish & Virginia is fundamentally the same as Royal Jersey Original Latakia Mixture, but the Latakia has been removed and a subtle hint of vanilla has been added. The flavoring adds a very mellow note to the mixture while creating a pleasant aroma.
The Germain blends all kind of hit as they might have been the kinds of blends one might see many decades ago. None are overwhelming and when some flavor is in front or behind, its not by much. This is a mild blend, with good flavor. Are the tobaccos aged? Maybe. I enjoy the Germains (when available) as they are not in your face like many modern blends. Please dry out, though. Comes a bit wet.
