Becoming now an aroma afficionado, this is one of my goto smokes. It smells great, it smokes easy and leaves me hoping it would last a little longer in my pipe bowl. The cherry smell is really nice and reminds me of the smell after a great spring rain. If you're into aromatics, this one won't disappoint.

This one is my absolute favorite smoke. It’s my everyday. But I am here to tell you I recently bought some Mac Baren Classics Vanilla Cream to try, as I liked the idea of a vanilla. I mixed a little 50/50 and WHA-LA!! A verrrry smooth and tasty cherry vanilla. The wife loved the room note. Life is about choices - and this choice smoke is perfect in my opinion.

If you like cherry tobacco then this is a very good choice! Taste is sweet cherry and room note is exceptional. I’ve been smoking it mostly in a Peterson 314 and MM’s Norman Rockwell - in those pipes it smokes cool with no bite. I was just about to order another pound but it’s back ordered.

This may now be my favorite pipe tobacco! I picked this because of the reviews and I’m blown away by how good it is. Smokes great, my wife and son say it smells the best. Up to now L1-Q and Sir Walter Raleigh were my go-to pipe tobaccos but this is now my favorite. I don’t know how Lane does it but they really know how to blend tobacco.

This is one of my very favorite smokes. Smooth, never bites. It’s like a good wine, the nutty flavor and sweet note adds to the flavor of good foods and drink. An all day smoke for sure. My wife loves the room note and always comments when I fire this up. Try some, you won’t be sorry you did.

Was not for me evidently. I wanted to like this so very much, and it just didn't work for me at all. I do not think the problem was this mixture, but what I was expecting - or, what I thought I imagined I was expecting. Lane is not kidding when they say "very" cherry, as the smell is so powerful and strong smelling of Cherry, it is not to be believed - highly odoriferous. So, if that is what you are looking for, then perhaps you will like this; as so many other smokers have. Unfortunately for me, it smelled like I was smoking ten of those cherry scented car air-fresheners - and with no tobacco taste; just hot, cherry scented air. I hope if you try this, you will like it; but I am not right for this product. I give 3 stars as I do not believe there was anything wrong or substandard with it as a product, even though my personal smoking experience was a 1 star.

I bought the Very Cherry because I wanted to see how the flavor would taste. It just wasn't what I was expecting. By itself I am not liking the blast of cherry flavor but I did blend some of it with some Captain Black Gold that I had left. I am enjoying that blend. It toned down the cherry flavor making it more of a note and not the predominate flavor.

Very cherry has a strong cherry candy aroma in the pouch but no cherry flavor when smoked. Tends to burn hot with a good amount of tongue bite. I wanted to like this tobacco but I am having a hard time doing so. Maybe with a little black cherry cavendish blended in it would be better. I won't order this again.

I enjoy aromatic tobacco. I found that some you have to smoke slow and others stay mild even with energetic puffing. With Lane Very Cherry I could not enjoy it with either. When I first lit up it was ok but for me the taste was terrible. It didn't taste like cherry. To me it tasted like medicine that someone tried covering up with a funky flavor. Then as I smoked it for a while it started to bite. I decided to dump out the rest of the bowl and enjoy one of my other tobaccos. Now I have to try to blend the Very Cherry with something else to see if it can be enjoyed.

If you are an aromatic cherry junkie, then I recommend this one. Very pleasant room note, cherry smell/taste throughout the smoke. No bite, a good slow easy smoke. I can't compare it to other cherry tobaccos but this is a must have if you love aromatics. Peterson bent used
