MATCH Sail Yellow

I like it.

Excellent for sail yellow but i wish they made a match fo Sail natural

There is nothing wrong with this tobacco, but it just isn't what I was hoping for.

I DIGRESS, SAIL YELLOW MATCH IS A SMOOTH SWEET BLEND THAT PRETTY MUCH SATISFIES ME THE WAY THE ORIGINAL SAIL BLENDS AND TROOST DID SO LONG AGO. A fairly close match to Sail Yellow but not perfect. If you cannot find the original, this will do.

Nice blend, nothing overrides the other, pleasant room note. You may want to dry it, you may not. A thoughtful comingling of smoking elements.

This blend is lightly cased, with a balanced blend, so you get a gist of the tobacco's used through out the smoke. The room note is a light to medium, without any of the too sweetie, that more highly cased blends tend to leave. A thoughtful smoke, good show! Says Joe!

Pretty decent smoke. Very close to Sail Natural that I've used for 45 years. Will reorder when time comes.

Thought I was getting individual pouches and just got a big bag of tobacco instead. Ziplock bags are fine for a couple of ounces but not for lbs. of tobacco. No way the zip lock keeps that much tobacco fresh very long. Won't order again!!

I was impressed with the blend and hoping you will create a Sail Natural taste a like blend. I have smoke Natural for over 20 years.

This is the first time I have smoked a pipe and Sail Yellow since the 1960s. For me ... the Match Sail Yellow smokes better than the import Sail Yellow. Nice and smooth with no bite !!! Match Sail Yellow has a fine taste and fine burn. It burns even to the bottom of the bowl with no change of any negatives. This is one of my 'go to' pipe tobaccos because it is so good all around. I have been testing all kinds of pipe tobaccos and this is one I conserve until some more is shipped to me. I would rate Match Sail Yellow a 4.5.

I hadn't smoked Sail Yellow in 20 years. 1st batch of this I say "Yes, that's it. That's exactly it". 2nd batch, not so much. A nice Dutch Cavendish regardless. Good change of pace if this is your style. Decent nic content.

Its a good blend in its own write but its missing something compared to Sail. I have been smoking Sail yellow for a while now and it has become one of my go to tobacco all summer long. I ordered the Match Sail Yellow because I like the idea of ordering in bulk vs buying 8 pouches a pop. I tried the blend this afternoon and its missing the sweet oriental notes I love so much in Sail Yellow original. I will gladly smoke up the 4ozs I purchased as a test but will have to order the pouches in the futurer.

An excellent alternative to Sail Yellow. Have been smoking this mixture for a number of years, and have not been disappointed.
