A solid pipe for the price. It smokes great and I'm not too worried about it getting some wear and tear when doing yard work.

Of all my pipes, this is my favorite. I plan on buying another MM Zenon in the future.. The Zenon smokes long, cool and smooth. Buy a MM Zenon today from P &C, you won't regret it.

Zenon #1
A while back I purchased a Missouri Meerschaum Zenon. As it is now broken in nicely it has become my number one pipe. I have a few pipes that cost quite a bit more, and among my collection most of the time I reach for my Zenon.

Missouri Zenon
I received my new pipe today and am on the way to break it in. The Zenon smokes well with an easy draw like most Missouri pipes. I do like the green stem and the look of the wooden bowl. Ask me after a month our two and see what I think than.

Such a great pipe!
I’ll be the first to say I love my briar pipes. But this MM pipe smokes like a dream. Smokes very cool and smoothly. I’ve been using it for my aromatics with a 6mm charco filter and not a single bite. Very enjoyable.

Just my thoughts
When I see people write or say, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR", makes me wanta just shake my head. Why buy something at a low cost, then complain about it. I myself, like "cheap" things, period. It's just me and when it "came" to pipes, I liked something different and cheap. Most of my brand of pipes aren't made anymore and I haven't smoked in over 10 years, but I miss the taste and smell. When trying to explain to people the taste is a lot better than the smell, they just shake their head. When I saw this pipe and read the reviews, I knew I wanted one. I understand the pro's and con's, but the pro's out weigh the con's. I don't believe I coulda written this review without rating the pipe, which I gave 5 stars..

Just a little maintenance info
Yeah, I’ll leave yet Another review. Ha ha! Just a word up….If the stem is loose in the shank, or after using it a while, it becomes loose in the shank, gently heat the inserted end of the stem and push it against something hard. Very gently. You can compress the plastic and alter the shape slightly so that once again, it fits tight. Also, if the rings are popping off of the shank, you can compress them a little bit with a pair of needle nose, pliers.. although a little glue is the better option.

Maple is back!
I have been a lover of MM maple primitives for nearly a decade. I have been scrambling for those maple spools since they have been out production. Seeing, getting, and smoking this pipe are just more reasons to greatly enjoy the existential resurgence that MM is going through. I DO NOT smoke English blends out of this pipe...just light aros and burley blends.

Humidity’s effect….
Here’s a wonderful response I got from Missouri Meerschaum…. Hi James! This time of year, many of our pipes experience loose stems. When the weather gets cold and dry, the wood shanks change size which can make the stems loose. We see the opposite happen in the summer. There are a couple of quick fixes you can try. Remove the stem and swab the mortise with a warm, damp qtip or wrap a warm, damp cloth around the end of the shank. This will help rehydrate the wood and make the stem fit more snugly. The metal rings are just pressure fit on, so when the wood changes size, they can come loose as well. A little drop of glue should fix that problem. We do use a white, food-grade glue, similar to Elmer's glue, to assemble our pipes. When the pipe is smoked, the glue will soften. If you try to remove the stem before the pipe has cooled or if you hold the bowl while removing the stem, that glue seal can break and the shank can pull out of the bowl. Luckily there is a quick fix for that too. Just put a little white glue around the shank hole in the bowl and reinsert the shank into the bowl. Let it dry thoroughly and you are good to go. We are delighted that you enjoy our pipes and really appreciate your business. Thanks & Merry Christmas! Marilyn Missouri Meerschaum Co.

This is a cheap pipe. No surprise!
I left an early review based on one new pipe. Now that I’ve had a few for a few days…You have to realize that you get what you pay for. The stem may be a little loose. That shank ring may come right off. You may go to pull the stem out and have the shank pull right out of the bowl. All are fixable but I’m just sayin….

Suits me fine!
I just bought a full rotation of these. I’m rough on pipes. Threw out my OLD COUNTRY gentlemen. Smokes real nice without a filter! Even just a little in the bowl smokes great. There’s a little glue in the bottom of each one that is HARD to get out. I’m not a clencher, and this is a great hand-holder. The bit is pretty heavy-duty! Very pleased!

Nice evening pipe
Well made and very affordable, nice evening pipe , not an all day pipe for me , has a large and heavy bowl and hangs heavy in the mouth , too heavy for an all day smoker but very well made and should last a lot longer than most due to the sheer size of the bowl
