I bought this to mix with some of my other tobaccos for RYO Cigarettes. It had a nice, smooth taste, that really seemed to mellow out harsher tobaccos. Stand-alone it was ok, but to me this was better when mixed with a Virginia or Virginia/Burley Blend.

I like the Turkish blend. I find that this makes for a mellow smoke combined with a full flavor king or 100mm tube. Way better than the generics I was smoking!

Great RYO Tobacco if you don't mind drying it out

I am usually a Camel Light smoker. This tobacco is actually much more flavorful than a Camel Light at a fraction of the cost. I use a cigarette injector & Zig-Zag Cigarette Tubes. It costs me about 75% less to smoke this way, & it doesn't have any of the additives that the tobacco companies put into cigarettes either.
The downside is, that like most "Pipe Tobaccos", you do have to dry it out, & cut it up a bit to get it ready to be rolled. This isn't a deal breaker for me though. I just dry it a paper plate at a time beforehand.

MUCH better than OHM Red. It’s not as harsh, wasn’t too dry and brittle, just right. The only weird thing is that it tasted funny when I first rolled it but that happens when you switch brands. I eventually got used to this new smooth mellow flavor. I would buy this again.

I've always been very happy with the ohm tobacco's quality before this order. Unfortunately, this order was EXTREMELY "WET"; & has to be dried out for several hours on a paper plate before it's injected. This is a big hassle! I probably will not order again.

Yes, It does smoke like a Camel Light for RYO Cigarettes. This is really about the closest that you can get to the Virginia Turkish leaf of the Camel Light smokes. My only complaint is that it is a little too dry and thus falls out of the tubes after you've filled them with this leaf. (Ohm, reduce the curing to add a LITTLE MORE MOISTURE!!) BTW, to get a better fill in your tubes; put the leaf in a Cuisinart to change the ribbon cut to a cigarette cut fill.

I typicaly smoke the OHM Bold. However, because of a sale the only OHM availble was the Turkosh Yellow. I was a bit nervous, but i think this may be a new "go to" for me. Nice and smooth with a small throat kick still. I am happy with this purchase

This is a good every day smoke. Not quite as strong as the red. Smoother too. Just the right amount of moisture to run through my machine. More Virginia than Turkish. If you want more Turkish flavor, try 4 Aces Turkish. Both are very good.

I like non-aromatic tobacco to both smoke on its own, and as a mixing component with aromatic blends. I can not be more pleased with my purchase. 1. VERY LITTLE AROMA 2. Didn't like the cut of the tobacco. It burned too quickly. AND My same impression holds true for the "blue" and "silver". Big mistake on my part. I thought I was getting a very big deal....the quantity in each bag was huge for the price. I'll stay with brands I know in the future.

Perfect for rollin your own smokes. Along the same line as Camels but this is much better quality of tobacco. Its very fresh and has a great aroma. I get about 2 and 1/2 cartons per pound of tobacco. It is a great deal if your willing to put in a lil effort and roll for yourself.

I was looking for a mild, all day tobacco. OHm Yellow was sufficiently mild enough, but it burnt extremely fast. Four or five puffs and the bowl was filled with ash. I won't be reordering this tobacco.

I am on my third pound of OHM Turkish Yellow and have had one pound of the OHM Turkish Red. The yellow is much more mellow and is smoother than the red but either one is a fabulous choice for RYO tobacco. The price is right, very few twigs and the taste is awesome.
