Time changes everything...
Nothing makes cigar tobacco smoother and richer like patient aging, and that's exactly what Nick Perdomo was thinking when he created the Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Vintage Connecticut. To make such an incredibly harmonious cigar, he had all the tobaccos baled to age for ten years. After that, the tobaccos were moved to charred oak bourbon barrels for two more years before rolling.
Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Vintage Connecticut sports a golden, silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper laid over Nicaraguan binder and long-filler tobaccos. The flavor is cedary and leathery, with hints of caramel, cream, and just a bit of white pepper. Only select tobaccos were subjected to this extensive aging, so quantities are limited. If you like creamy, mellow to medium-bodied cigars, you should get some while they're still available.
