Delicious Dew
I am a burley lover and Irish Dew is among my favorites. It is quite delicious and also quite mild. I like to smoke this while fishing or reading for it smokes easy. I would have a difficult time describing its flavor so I recommend buying some and trying it for yourself.

I've tried the Peterson Irish
I've tried the Peterson Irish Dew on a chance that the whiskey flavor would add to the tobacco flavor, and, I was pleasantly surprised that I ordered more, since I would have been happy trying it early in my search of tobacco. The cut is loose and large, long pieces that pack well and, burn evenly. The smoke is both flavorful and, mild to medium strength while, lasting the whole smoke, I am happy at the whiskey not over powering the flavor.

It's a dry tabacco. Something I would keep in the humidor. Has a little bit of a bite, but not overwhelming. Nice flavor and aroma. Something nice to try. And have a variety to add. Remind me alot of Davidoff Scottish blend.

No bite to this one.
No bite to this one. The flavor is outstanding and has become my new all day smoke. There are subtle flavors of nuts and berries that occasionally arise with the great old fashioned taste of a great burley. The Virginia adds a complexity that is incredibly enjoyable.

Moisture is on point . Good flavor, slow burn smoke is better towards the end

Very Relaxed
Not quite as flavorful as some but still a relaxing smoke that is very smooth. May be good for a blend!

Irish Dew
Very pleasant, this is more of a mild Danish style Virginia blend with an interesting top note that’s delicious. I smells wonderful in the pouch, but don’t leave it there. Better to put it in a medium size tin or jar with a humidifier disk to keep it moist and just scratch the top for a pipe full. It smokes similar to Dunhill Ready Rubbed or Peter Stokkebe Natural Dutch. I’ve had pouches that were too dry and lifeless, so there is some variation from pouch to pouch. It does not have a noticeable whiskey flavor the way other whiskey blends do. It’s cheap and worth trying, I keep going back to it.

Aroma very pleasant as is
Aroma very pleasant as is the room note. Enjoy the mildness, can smoke all day without feeling like my mouth was burned by fire. Not to moist so the lightening is not a problem at all. Website is very good offering a wide variety of items for the smoker. Just wish that too many items are out of stock.

Premium Quality and Flavor!
I purchased this as a gift set for my husband and to be honest, I was a little nervous because it's more of a full body tobacco than he typically smokes. It is now his new favorite and I will be ordering more very soon!

Irish Dew
It's okay. Wanted something with a bit more aroma. I believe that my pipe is bad.

Not bad
Not bad but not great, bought this as part of the “Killer Instict” sampler, I’d give it 3-3.5 stars, I honestly thought the Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey was better.

bite?
I don't know why, but the pouch of this I got gave me really bad tongue bite. I prefer Erin Go Bragh, among the Irish blends.

A new "all day" favorite.
A new favorite. Not often I find a new "reliable". Irish Dew has gone onto that list after the first pouch. No heavy flavors. Very cool burning for me. A very solid staple. The mix of nut from the burley and the clean straw of the virgina do me right.

One of my faves!
What can I say - it's Peterson. Also like their Wild Atlantic. Old world style tobaccos that do not need to hide behind casings.

Peterson Irish Dew
A strong aroma straight out the pouch. Very moist and textured tobacco. Smokes well but doesn't keep the flavor past the first few draws. I am a first time pipe smoker and would seriously need to sample others to give a good review though.

Peterson Irish Dew - relatively simple, but wholesome and pleasant.
Nice and toasty, nutty flavors from the Burley combined with sweet, creamy, tea-like notes from the Virginia, with a light topping of tangy , honeyed Irish whiskey, which is more distinctive in the pouch than in the draw. Burns evenly, a wee bit warm but not hot. I quite like the long, broken flake cut - not only does it look pretty; it packs easily and burns exceedingly well. No delights on my first bowl (smoked in a handmade beechwood churchwarden pipe I purchased from Ukraine). Would go well with a glass of Tullamore Dew or Paddy. I'll probably buy more later on, but I wish it were sold by the ounce.

Nice Smoke!
Irish Dew is a really nice tonacco. it has a great aroma and puts out tons of smoke. If you like a mild, sweet, fruity tobacco, then this ones for you.

Peterson Irish Dew Tobacco
Overall, not a bad smoke, but it was not as mild as my usual brand. I found that it did bite a little.

Love this tobacco . Just right for a change of taste !

Tasteless
I was expecting much more from this tobacco, however I found it tasteless and boring. The pouch note was tobacco forward with sweet notes of honey, but it didn't translate to the smoke. I'm going to add some blending perique to this and jar it up for a while to see if that helps it.

Not good at all.
Really not what I was expecting from reading the description. Was more like a bland English then a tasty aromatic. I won't order it again.

Mild and Earthy
A light, mild earthy flavored tobacco, The whiskey flavor starts to build as you smoke. I need to smoke this one some more but I think I quiet like it.

Irish, Yes
This tobacco has grown on me. At first it seemed too neutral, somewhat boring, mono. But I am enjoying it more with every bowl. It almost comes across to me as a menthol, with the Irish Whisky. But then there is the chocolate. It's not a heavy, goopy, aero. But one of a more European light flavoring, Virginian forward, though I do get a hint of burly nutty, mostly in the room note. At first I thought no, but after finishing one pouch, would I buy more, yes. I'm not an aro fan, sticking mostly with ropes, flakes, and cakes, but I like it!

My New Favorite Tobacco
This is the best I have smoked so far. It is much more flavorful then Dunhill Ready Rubbed. A lot of the Virginia's give me a really smoky after taste, but this one does not. I also LOVE Burley. This is my new favorite tobacco. I wouldn't have called it an aromatic tobacco because there honestly doesn't seem to be much flavoring added. The cut of this tobacco is very pleasant as well. It keeps the perfect moisture level and I enjoy the pouch rather then a tin because its easier to take with you and I imagine it keeps the cost of manufacturing down. I highly recommend giving this one a try. I generally don't enjoy the more "straight" Virginia's, but this one is greatly enhanced by the Burley.

Light Aromatic
This is a very mild aromatic if that is what you have to call it. The whisky and fruit toppings are so mild that they are almost unnoticeable, and for the most part, all I get are the natural sweet flavors of the Virginia tobaccos. I would say that this is an ok aromatic and I would call this an ok Virginia burley blend, but it is not stellar in either category. As for the tobacco, it appears to be a quality Virginia burley blend with no twiggy or hard bits mixed in with it. It packs easily due to the cut and takes a light well, as the moisture level is almost perfect. This is not a gloopy or wet aromatic by any means. Flavor profile was again mild on the aromatic front and mainly seemed to me to be that of sweet Virginias with hay like or grassy notes being the predominant flavor. I was not able to really detect any of the nutty flavors usually associated with burley tobaccos during my smoke, which leads me to believe that this is a Virginia forward blend. The room note was described to me by those in the room as slightly sweet and grassy. All in all, a decent smoke, but a hard one to place in a specific category, for me at least. A decent tobacco that you may want to sample for yourself if you want a light aromatic with more of the Virginia flavors. Remember that all reviews are subjective, and everyone will experience the tobacco differently.

Give it a try!
I was pleasantly surprised by this tobacco, I received it first as a free sample when I purchased a Peterson pipe. Now, this tobacco will be in my regular rotation. Thanks P&C!

Light Whiskey Blend
I was expecting a stronger whiskey note, but this is quite subtle. It's a light blend and smokes very well with hardly any bite to it. It's more flavorful than Peterson's Irish Whiskey and would be nice as an all day smoke.

Unique Tasty Blend
Another quality blend from Peterson. Kind of a unique tasty blend, but not bad. It's texture an cut is different than what I'm use to, but I may order this again. Thank you.
