Peterson My Mixture 965 Sale

For all of the P&C Faithful who were concerned that Dunhill tobaccos had disappeared forever - good news! The blends are back using the same exact blends and tobaccos, coming from the same factory. The only thing that's different is that they are now under the Peterson name. Even the classic artwork remains.

Of all of the Peterson tobaccos, My Mixture 965 is a true classic, even having been inducted into the Pipe Tobacco Hall of Fame. Great Virginias are blended with select Macedonian Orientals and a good amount of rich Latakia. What sets 965 apart is the addition of brown Cavendish, which deepens the blend and adds a subtle hint of mellow sweetness.

MM965 is GREAT!!
Newer to pipe smoking and had really clung to aromatics. Was recommended MM965 and was immediately a fan. Woodsy, fragrant, and always something new to discover. Really enjoy this on cooler evenings outdoors.

Balance
A very well balanced English that makes for a fine lunchtime smoke. The Latakia adds a smokiness without being overpowering. The cavendish isn’t overly sweet. I’ve enjoyed the match 40 blend in the past and found this to be far superior.

Full bodied English blend. Good for an experienced smoker as well as a good buy for a novice smoker to get acquainted with some solid English blends with plenty of Latakia. Really opens up a new world for those new to this style of tobacco.

New to Pipe Smoking. So take my review with a grain of salt... I have about 15 tobaccos that I'm sorting... I'm coming from cigars

Like it or not, 100% worth the $ to try it.
This is my first smoke of it right now. I like to smoke all my new english tobaccos in my MM Country Gentleman cob first...its the most honest and consistent pipe I have. While I do that, I like to get online and read the description and reviews to get a better understanding of my own tastes compared to others. I have to say that everything that I'm reading is spot on. This is not a strong smoke, but also not too mild either. It has a good body to it, yet still smooth with a mellow room note. I call this one right down the middle and probably why its a classic Hall of Fame English blend. While this of course has latakia, virginia, oriental and cavendish in it, it is melded together nicely into a fine smoke. This isnt too light and it wont melt your face off. I'm not sure how I feel about it personally per my tastes, but I can see why it is a well-known blend.

Good Addition
If you want real tobacco flavor then this is perfect. No artificial flavors or other junk. Great as part of your rotation. It’s moist so you will want to take some out before you enjoy a smoke and let it dry a bit.

This was my first tin .. what a surprise! I started on aromatics but was not getting the enjoyment bowl after bowl I was looking for. I decided to give English blends a try After watching mutton chop, the Spurgeon piper, and the pipe cottage on YouTube talk up English blends . So glad I did!! Love the cavendish!

Another winner from Peterson.
Since I joined Pipes & Cigars, I've been trying various blends of pipe tobacco; some to my liking, other not as much -- however, I find I can't go wrong with anything from Peterson.

Outstanding
This is an update to my previous review. Of all the blends I've tried, this is the most rewarding. It keeps revealing itself to me. I tend to smoke fast, but 965 is one that I savor. No need for excessive retro-haling to search for flavor, it's there in spades! As long as they make this stuff, I'll be a buyer.

This is rich, strong tobacco.
This is rich, strong tobacco. The Latakia dominates much more than in the days when Dunhill blended the tobacco. Other ingredients are clearly in the background. This tobacco more than satisfies, but it’s a much more potent blend with a smoky aroma. It’s requires only a few relights. A fine after dinner blend.

I began piping 6 months ago, and this was one of my first purchases. Didn't care for it at all, but that's because I didn't know how to smoke and was freight training it. After revisiting, I like it. Has a good nic punch if you take the occasional inhale. Burns nicely and has a good aftertaste.

My Mixture 965 is indeed my mixture
What can I say? This is my favorite tobacco so take this review with a grain of salt. There is a wonderful creamy smoke with pronounced incense overtones from the Latakia. At times I get a sharpness and tang from the tobacco, while sometimes th sweetness of the Cavendish creeps in and will dominate a bowl. Again my personal favorite- if I was forced to only smoke one blend for her rest of my life it would be this one!

My Mixture 965 is tops!
This blend is rapidly becoming my favorite. The tin states that it's a well-balanced blend, and indeed it is just that! This blend tastes, smells, and burns excellently in whatever bowl shape you choose. I have been experimenting with different pipes and it doesn't seem to matter. You won't regret your purchase.

A Well-Balanced Blend
I anticipated this to be another weak/mild English blend. Instead, it’s a well constructed blend of Latakia & Oriental and using brown-cavendish to add creaminess and a touch of sweetness. The tobaccos cleverly complement each other rather than 1 of them taking the lead & dominating your smoke. I never tried the original Dunhill blend but the Peterson blend is worth trying. Excellent.

Great introduction to more traditional English blends.
I can't comment on Peterson's alongside the original Dunhill blend. This version of 965 contains balanced proportions of latakia and Orientals to keep things interesting. There is an engaging fullness in taste present while smoking, and it's a great, Autumn-Winter tobacco choice. The lack of Virginias keeps it from being a traditional English blend; the more-natural cavendish in its place adds a sweetness and some additional depth that works well with the main players (latakia and Oriental leaves). Purchased a couple of tins to cellar for a few years, alongside some tins of Nat Sherman 536 that I found in an old cigar shop - my lucky day.

I used to smoke Dunhill's
I used to smoke Dunhill's Standard Mixture (full) until they stopped selling it over here. I ultimately found 965, which was almost as good; I smoked 965 for years, and then Dunhill went under. A few match tobacco mixtures were totally different, but then Peterson took over all the Dunhills with the statement "original recipe," which I didn't believe. Now I believe it. Tastes just like it used to, as far as I can remember

Different!
I've been ordering various tobaccos to find something I like and different from the run-of-the-mill. This one's different. Really smoky. Sounds like Capt. Obvious I know, in that the subject is pipe tobacco, but this is really smoky. I suppose its the Latakia. A little too pungent for me by itself but mixed 1/3 to 1/2 with some nondescript tobacco, I like it as an occasional change. Will buy again.

I spent the summer months smoking mostly aromatic tobaccos, but I received this by mistake. I smoked this when it was Dunhill, but have forgotten just how good a good English tobacco can be. It...is...english
Of all the Dunhill blends that Pete is making that I have tried this one is the most, how to say this, plain ol’ english? It is the sort of english that is to tobacco what mushy peas is to food. That said I added some nicely aged St James Perique to it and then I liked it so much more it was almost like I had alchemaically created a completely different tobacco. I’m sure it’s just fine out of the can. Remember, all reviews are subjective.

Not What I Usually Smoke.. But I Love It!
Finally got around to trying this today. My experience with English blends only includes Nightcap and Early Morning Pipe, this was my favorite of the three. I didn’t like the taste at first, but I attribute that to not letting it sit for a bit before smoking, the flavor built as it went along, getting better and better. Very little tongue bite. Great mix of peppery orientals with nice leather notes underneath. The slightly sweet finish from the cavendish is great. What surprised me the most, however, was the nicotine hit. Much stronger than I anticipated, being used to smoking mostly cavendish and Virginia this was a very different, very enjoyable smoke.

My go to Pipe Tobacco
I have been smoking this brand (formerly Dunhill) for the last decade. I always return to it-its the best tasting, smoothest, and maintains a kick pipe tobacco on the market. Good news, the only difference now is Peterson on the can. Same stuff, same traditional taste

A great mixture with nice amount Latakia
Im so glad Peterson took this blend after Dunhill got out of pipe tobacco . Its made by same blender that Dunhill used. Its Smokey's camp fire smell, and is very moist , so if you don't like smoking moist tobacco , you might want to dry it out a little after first opening. After that it drys in the tin.

If you are a fan of latakia, you should like this tobacco. If you are not a fan of latakia, save your money. 'My Mixture 965' is the real deal and is as good as, or better than, any of the others -my biased opinion, obviously but I do encourage anyone who likes latakia to give this one a try.

Spot on re-issue, it's just like I remembered.
This was one of my staples, under the Dunhill name, along with Early Morning Pipe, Nightcap, Standard Mixture, and Elizabethan. I was seldom so pleased as when Peterson picked up the torch, and began releasing these blends under their own name. Peterson My Mixture 965 is, IMO, spot on to the original, I can't detect any difference. This is one that I usually cellar for a year or two, so I purchased four tins (also four tins of EMP, Nightcap, Standard Mixture and Elizabethan), one for now and three for later (and I plan on ordering even more for the celler). I opened the first tin, and was greeted with a very pleasant and familiar aroma, sweet and smoky, with a complex creamy leathery undertone. Moisture content was perfect for smoking right out of the tin (as all of the Dunhills were). It packed nicely, lit easily, and stayed lit very well. It got into the 'zone' quickly, and delivered a sweet and smokey incense like smooth smoke, just like I remembered. The nicotine was on the high side of medium, just right for a pipe any time of the day. My conclusion was that that 'They're Back'! I had the same conclusion with the other blends I mentioned. I'm very grateful to Peterson for bringing back our beloved Dunhill blends, if you (like me) enjoyed the Dunhill blends, you will not be disappointed with the Peterson re-issues. They even kept the cool Dunhill tin art, it's exactly the same except for the change in the name from Dunhill to Peterson.

My favorite to date, this robust, earthy blend of Cavendish, Oriental, and Latakia is surprisingly smokable. Tin notes of campfire and leather come to mind. A very enjoyable smoke with full flavor but not harsh.

One of My Favorites
Like many pipe smokers who like English blends, I missed the Dunhill blends. I couldn’t find anything that took their place. 965 is a perfectly balanced blend that I can smoke all day. The latakia and the orientals give it a full body that I find very satisfying.

Great English
Just a nice English blend. It has more flavor than standard mixture but is a nice creamy English. Everything plays nice together and there are no overpowering crazy upfront flavors. The latakia is there but not overpowering. It could be smoked all day or a relaxing smoke in the eve. Just a good ol English.

My Mixture
Some of you may know that this was William Faulkner's favorite tobacco. It's not too strong, a good all-dayer with great body and excellent flavor, enough of a nicotine rush. It's a dependable gentleman's smoke. Stays lit, easy on the palette, grand taste.

Pretty good
Take this review with a grain of salt, I’m fairly new to English blends and pipe smoking in general. I don’t mind I full flavored tobacco, but I just don’t get much more than a standard English here. It’s good, and it smokes ok, but I won’t go out of my way to buy it again. Arrived wet, had to dry overnight on a paper towel to get it where I wanted it (American South, humidity).

965 is a great tasting English mix that is mild yet flavorful. I thought it was a good morning smoke with some coffee. Or an afternoon smoke with some strong stout beer like Guinness

Fantastic blend
This is my first real English blend and I was taken back by how much I really enjoyed it. It came in the tin at just the right moisture and it smoked just right. The fine Dunhill ribbon cut is easily packed and burns at just the right pace. It is truly unfortunate that we are having to say goodbye to the company but I hope that I can find a good match for this blend so I can keep smoking it!

Smells like a fireplace...
Turns out the smell of latakia repulses me, I'm sensitive to 'campfire/fireplace' smells and it just turns me off, I'll cellar it for a few years but I'm going to guess I will never want to smoke it. What I get for not researching different types of tobacco for my first order.

Milder than Night Cap
Milder than Night Cap and a great all around smoke. If you find Night Cap to be overpowering, then, back it off a notch and try Mixture 965. Also found that Balkan Supreme, IMO, is very close to 965 in every way, I wouldn't choose one over the other. Nothing aeromatic about this one, but, if you're looking to please yourself to a great smoke, try it, you won't regret it. Thanks again P & C

An Classic that never disappoints!
This is a longtime favorite of mine. The current tin I'm enjoying is from '06. I load up a massive bowlful in my Mr. Brog Yerba Mate pipe and know I'm in for an evening of rich, latakia-laced smoke. The complexity and hint of sweetness never get old. Even my wife enjoys the room note.

Stepping Stone
I am enjoying this blend very much, I have to say that this is the first English blend I truly enjoyed. disclaimer- I am new to pipes and tobacco. I have mentioned before that I started this hobby with a few (too many) ounces of Lane BCA, not a bad blend, but one that grew old too fast. I had tried Nightcap and Elizabethan mixture, which although are great blends, did not register well with me. Mixture 965 however I think has helped me grasp the intricacies of an English blend. There was the creamy and sweet notes given by this blend's inclusion of Cavendish, but did not drown out the latakias and orientals (though I'm still learning how to identify those). All in all, I think for a piper willing to start on English blends, this would be a great stepping stone. Would purchase again and recommend.

Pleasently surprised
Being an aromatic tobacco smoker for many decades, I was a little reluctant to try an English blend. I now realize that I was mistaken. My Mixture 965 was a pleasant surprise from the very first bowl full. Cool smoking and great tasting. I will definitely buy this tobacco again.

Short Learning Curve
I first thought this was an unremarkable blend, but the I had never bought tinned tobacco before. After trying another bowl after the tin had been opened, I got a serious lesson in tobacco aging as the next two bowls were far nicer. A more distinctive Latakia note without the alkali aftertaste I had experienced before. BUT WAIT-- I had also bought a tin of Hearth & Home Marquee WhiteKnight, intrigued by the Balkan Sobranie Original Smoking Mixture story. A different blend from 965, but very nice as well. I also had half an ounce of Lane BS-005, so.... Yup: I decanted all three and blended them in a glass jar and let 'em sit a week. Well! Now we have an extremely complex smoke, very English in character and soothing to the soul. It is heavy in smoky Latakia taste with the fullness of the Western components and yet waaaay in the back sits the Oriental/Turkish leaves like a note of nutmeg. Wonderful! So: two tins each of 965 and WhiteKmight, one ounce of BS-005; throw into a glass jar, blend well (I used a kitchen fork) and ignore for as long as you can manage. Might even buy a largish tin, pack the blend tight and store in the basement a year to see how it compares to the young stuff. Even if you're not psychotic like me, the Dunhill will please.

Close, But No Er--
Rich all right, but a touch flat-tasting to me, with an alkali hint, not as complex as I had expected. Still, if I was out of tobacco, and a friend offerred me some, I'd load up in a heartbeat rather than stop at the drug store for some Cherry Blend... ;)

Wonderful stuff!
So glad they brought this and all the old classics back. Aperitif was my favorite, but this has it beat out as my new favorite. It's so nice and mellow when I want a milder smoke. Great prep, pack, burn, note, fisrt light and a nice slow burner, with little to no fodder. Just enough black cav to sweeten it down while cutting the bite. Wish I could truly claim it as "My" mixture! Wonderful stuff, Dunhill! Just wonderful.

One of the Best
I have been smoking a pipe since my university days. Over the past fifty years now I have tried a lot of different tobacco blends. Beginning originally with the sweet stuff like Flying Dutchman, I have matured and my taste has evolved and I've settled on various English blends. This is truly one of the best and I will continue with it.

Amazing choice.
The flavor that My Mixture 965 offers is one of the perfect representations of a Latakia-infused blend, in my opinion. It never disappoints!

My friend calls it "Dungheap"... I COULDN'T DISAGREE MORE!
With 965, Dunhill created a true classic and I absolutely love it. It's perfect any day, all day and will be a regular item in my shopping cart. Thank you, Dunhill!

A little sweet and smokey...
...but not like the tiny little cocktail hot dogs, thank goodness. I bought this tin along with the Nightcap and Early morning mixture in order to compare and contrast, and get into the Dunhill blends. This one surprisingly ended up my favorite of the three. Though I'm not a die hard English smoker; I do love some good aromatics from time to time, I tend to gravitate more towards smokey blends for daily smokes. This blend was a solid compromise between the two. The added benefit was the pleasing room note for the non-smokers in my life. I feel like it's a guilty pleasure, but not guilty enough to cause me to smoke it in private. I will be purchasing more of this in the near future!

Great first English
If you're looking to broaden your smoking palate and try an English style tobacco, you can't go wrong with this one. I just branched out from aromatics and this is by far the easiest step into the English realm. If you're on the fence, this is the one to pick. This is my new favorite smoke.

My Mixture 965 is a Winner!!
I purchased the King of the Dunhill Sampler which included a 1.76oz can of My Mixture 965 and I must say that I am quite taken by this one. I particularly enjoyed the Nightcap tin and I thought that it was my favorite until my second bowl of My Mixture 965. VERY pleasant room note. Not an overpowering flavor... just right really. I quite like the mix of the Cavendish, Latakia & Oriental in this one. Latakia can be a bit strong but I like it like that. 965 was a great surprise. Next time I will definitely be ordering bulk.

Smokes great tastes even better
Very high quality pipe tobacco. You know you're getting you monies worth too, they pack as much as they can into the tin.

Top shelf.
My palate isn't sophisticated enough to describe everything in this mixture, but if you leave me on a deserted island, leave me with this.

Another nice Dunhill Tobacco
I really like 965. It is almost a cross between EMP and Nightcap. Very fragrant in the tin, and smokes great.

It grows on you...maybe
I would say MM965 falls somewhere in the middle of the pack as far as English blends are concerned. I think it might benefit from either some aging or drying out (or both), as I am about halfway through the tin and only now am I starting to notice the perfumed-smoky Latakia note that I typically associate with my favorite English's. The shaggy cut is also very quick-burning, before you know it the bowl is finished. For the time being, "Durbar" remains my preferred Dunhill.

Not a fan
Let me get this out right here in the open. I’m 50, drink smoky peaty Islay malts and drink my coffee black. I like gin martinis and bold heavy cigars. However, I don’t think I’m grown up enough for this 965. It’s bold, it’s smoky, it’s got a lot of flavor going on. It’s like rolling up a steak, sprinkling it with peat and setting it on fire. If you’re into that (and from what I can tell a lot of people are) you’ll probably love this leaf. Me, I’ll take a sweet Virginia or VaPer over this and wait for my testicles to drop before I try this again.

965
A balanced mixture that's easy on the palate and quite strong. Campfires, Leather and a nice smokey sweetness. The Macedonian orientals are quite pronounced and very satisfying on the retrohale. An excellent blend that well deserves its classic status.

A Truly Great Old Classic For Good Reason.
Everybody knows about Dunhill tobaccos. They are often thought of as the most classic, standard of the English tobacco blends. World renowned. Your Grandfathers Go-To English. But in this current world of pipe tobacco, new blends seem to be offered every other day. Many, like me, quickly buy these new iterations as fast as we can to stay on top of what's new, searching for, perhaps, the perfect blend. Things like Dunhill My Mixture 965 can be forgotten. Lost in the shuffle of too many choices, and too many tins of tobacco to smoke all the time. After seeing a vintage tin sitting on the writing desk of famed American author James Faulkner (on an episode of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown) I was intrigued to try a tin again to revisit this old standard. If your Grandfather smoked 965 often then your Grandfather really knew what he was doing. Opening the tin I was presented with a bouquet of English tobacco aromas. The ribbons were moist but not wet, and took to the flame with ease. The taste is simply stated Classic. Perfect! Exactly what I expect a great English blend to taste like. Full in flavor, but never harsh, with a medium to light nicotine touch. The PERFECT all-day smoke for English lovers. Other Dunhill classics have their devotees, like Early Morning Pipe or Standard Mixture, and they're all great as well. I recently rediscovered how wonderful Elizabethan Mixture is as I took a journey relearning about VA/PER tobaccos. I have no point of reference for what 965 USED to be, or tasted like. I can only judge it as it is currently offered. It comes down to this. If it was James Faulkners favorite blend, then it' great enough for me. Stock up on this one ASAP!!

PURE GARBAGE!
After reading reviews based on Orlicks as opposed to Murrays VERSIONS of 965,,,Well I figured I'd give it a shot.... I have had the pleasure of smoking Murray's back in the day,,,this NEW orlick 965 is pure garbage! Tastes like cigarette smoke,,NO COMPARISON at all...everything is lost compared to Murrays version. Try Mc Cleelands 9to5 , or even "Sunjammer" both getting a lot closer to the real deal...I am throwing this in the trash,,,would not insult another pipe smoker by giving it away. If you like cigarettes and want to roll your own then perhaps this blend would be suitable for you....

There is 965 and then there is everything else
Have been smoking 965 since 1967. Occasionally try other blends, but they disappoint and I go right back to 965. Don't know what's in it except for Latakia, Cavendish and Virginia and in what proportions, but Dunhill has been doing it right for 100 years. The quintessential English. Not too strong, not too mild. Nutty flavor. Great nasal and room aroma. Relaxing and satisfying more than a glass of wine. OMG is it good.

Get it tinned and don't let it dry out!
Just bought my first tin of 965 after reading all the rave reviews and I must say, 965 deserves every one of them. I was advised to let the tin dry out a bit - but boy, that was a big mistake! The tin note upon opening was that famous ketchup-y smell, but also a little mustiness that I can't quite identify. Regardless, I found the tin note enticing and although the tobacco was a little moist, I smoked a bowl anyway. Wonderful smokey Latakia was right out front quickly followed up with a leathery and almost oily note. A surprising amount of sweetness - but not too much, and a delicious tangy finish that I found disappears if you let the tobacco dry out too much - as I did! Unfortunately, I let the rest of the tin dry out too much so I only had that first bowl full with all its rich flavors. Next time i'm buying a few extra tins and setting a couple back to age a little - i have a feeling that the 965 will age well, and this time, I won't let it dry out!

My No. 1
This is my everyday go-to blend. The tobacco in the tin has an amazing aroma. The flavors are delicious, and the smoke is smooth and cool. Who needs an aromatic when one can enjoy all the flavors that the tobacco itself has to offer? When "sipped," this mixture is delightful.

One of the Greats
My regular English blends are Dunhill Standard and Gawith Squadron Leader. But when I want a little more oomph, I reach for Dunhill 965. It’s a medium/full blend of Virginias, Orientals, Cavendish, and Latakia, and for me it hits all the right notes. Dark, round, spicy, and smokey. Great after a meal, or when binge watching back episodes of NCIS. It is often called a Scottish blend (and English with some cavendish thrown in), and I could certainly see myself to help recuperate from a dish of haggis. One of my favorites.

For the experienced piper...
Nice leathery, woodsmoke taste but it was a bit too powerful for my liking. Lots a nicotine in this which some may like but it made the room spin on me! No tongue bite. Definitely for the experienced smoker.

New daily smoke
This has become my new go-to daily weed. I still consider myself a novice pipe smoker (2 years), and I'm starting to break away from super-mellow Cavendish blends. This was a welcome transition into something else. It's inexpensive here (never buy at a local tobacconist; $15 markup from P&C's price), and is always delicious whether in morning time or evening. Smokes fairly cool and long. Not going to pretend I know too much just yet, but all's I can say is I heartily recommend it.

Dunhill # 965 Tin
My best smoke thus far, I have many "Tins" coming so I will wait until I find the "MY FAVORITE" mix. My only issue is that the tins seem to dry out rapidly.

Customer Testimonials
Not for the faint of heart is what I'll say on this. Maybe it's just my tolerance but I find this respectably full BUT I will say this is a great blend. It's very flavorful rich and smooth for a "medium full" bodied tobacco. If you like a no nonsense good mix this is for you

Greetings my Friends, I wanted you to know how very quickly my shipment arrived. I can't wait to try this blend (MM 965) as well as many other Dunhill and other mixtures from your firm. I am so delighted you are there, and wish you all the best. Dr. M

It's a nice, mild smoke. Burns reasonably well right from the opening of the tin. Subtle finish. Does not overpower. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

Very good tobacco.Classic English with a clean taste. High class all the way. A must try for all enthusiasts.

Just like I remembered it 30 years ago. Got away from latakia blends but this brought me back, great tin aroma and nice room aroma. Easy on the tounge .
EB of Malta, NY
This blend is absolutely delicious! It is smooth, nutty, and semi sweet!
AR of Brownhelm Township, OH
To start with this is a medium to light English blend. I'm not a huge fan of Latakia because most blends I have tried the Latakia has been quite overpowering but with this blend the Latakia doesn't overpower the other flavors but seem to compliment them. even if you don't usually smoke English blends I would suggest giving this one a try. I believe this tobacco will appeal to a wider range of smokers than is usual for most English blends.
JC of peru, NY
Probably my favorite Dunhill. While I enjoy Nightcap, this is a great all day smoke. Smooth, flavorful and a great room note. Bulk is as good as tin.
JH of Lagrange, GA
This is my all time favorite blend. I smoke it year round!
JS of Midland, TX
Very heavy and full flavor. Good complexity. Not for the faint of heart or empty stomach. Makes a better night excursion. Packs too much of a punch for lunch and if taken in too quickly can make you light headed.
KL of Steubenville, OH
I just cracked open this tin I purchased a while back and now I am sorry I waited! Subtle flavors and scents throughout my initial smoke have led me to consider this as one of my top five blends. Hints of cedar, incense, and peat make for fine room notes. Flavors include rich notes of coffee, toasted walnut, and even a slight hint of single-malt scotch. I'm thinking of buying bulk when this tin runs out.
JW of TRAVERSE CITY, MI
A flavor reminiscent of Dunhill London Mix, which is the gold standard of English mixes for me, but lighter and milder in flavor. It's a good choice for a primary tobacco, and then enjoy your special blends at your leisure.
RB of Steele, AL
Nice blend, I'm learning to love it a little alien to my taste but every time i smoke it i notice suddle nuances of flavor then nutty aspect is somewhat of a mystery in a enigma but im waiting to expand my knowledge upon its flavors :D by the way second type of tobacco I've ever tried I'm a newbie if you will and my first blend was an aromatic house blend at my pipe shop.
