Coffee and chocolate are used together in so many foods and drinks that we thought that it was time to offer you a pipe tobacco with these two great flavors. The chocolate flavor is deep and rich, more of a dark chocolate. Then we bring in a black coffee note. To keep the blend from being bitter, we add creamy vanilla to balance everything. Enjoy Russ' Monthly Blend - Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean any time you need a pick-me-up.
Due to recent regulations, this blend is now only available as a Pre-Built Blend Kit for you to become a master blender right in your own home. Each kit, once blended, will produce 8oz of Russ' Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean.
Love this blend. I'm a huge coffee fan and this blend suits me well and I believe anyone else that likes coffee. Give it a try. The price for an ounce cant be beat
This is a great smoking tobacco, no bite and lots of flavor down to the bottom of the bowl. This will go into my inventory for a every day smoke.
Took a chance on this blend and am glad I did. Have had cigars that boast the same flavors only to have them dwindle out about half way through. "Pouch" note on this is excellent with a rich coffee aroma and the chocolate in the background. As with a lot of aromatics, it seems moist at first but packs right. In my pipes, the way I pack, it tends to stay lit with no problems. I sometimes smoke fast so get some bite, not with this blend. For me, it smoked reasonably cool and I experienced no bite throughout. Did get moisture in the pipe, but am used to that since I smoke outside only and the cool air definitely adds to that effect. The coffee is definitely to the front of this blend with the chocolate adding a nice undertone to it. The nice thing is I got a consistent taste all the way through. It also has a nice 'stache/beard note to it. Those with hairy faces will understand that. :) I'd say that Russ has surely hit a home run with the bases loaded on this one and I will be ordering more. If you are an aromatic smoker or just looking for something new give it a try. And, if you don't like it you can always send it to me. ;)
