Seattle Pipe Club - Rainier Levant

Joe Lankford has fond memories of some of the blends that the legendary tobaccos from Drucquer & Sons. One particular favorite of his was Levant Mixture, and he missed it so much that he decided to develop his own tribute to it - introducing Seattle Pipe Club Rainier Levant. This is a rich and fragrant Balkan-style blend made of zesty red Virginia, earthy/spicy Turkish Orientals and plenty of Cyprian Latakia.

You won't regret it
Too many SPC blends are overlooked because they're not Mississippi Mud or Plum Pudding, but this blend has a great smell and flavor and is fantastic. Get yourself a tin now and I promise you'll be back for more!

Another Good Seattle Pipe Experience
Very Good Blend! Nothing complicated or mysterious about this blend. Great Flavors and quality tobacco make for an enjoyable experience. Try some, you won't regret it.

smoothe Latikia blend
easy middle of the day smoking pleasure with no afterbite. Good as a blender with stronger Latakia such as Dunhill Nightcap

I didn't open it.
I heard it was good so I ordered some to cellar for a year or two.

Excellent balkan
I was surprised and pleased to find that Seattle Pipe Club Rainier Levant was so like the old mixture from Drucquer & Sons that I enjoyed in the 1980s. It came sufficiently dry to load and smoke straight from the tin. The "campfire and leather" smell is as delightful as I remember, very full and satisfying. There isn't any bite. I highly recommend it to those who appreciate balkan and full English mixtures.
