Senior Pipe Reamer

Fine tool. The adjustable head and stem reamer are high quality. Works magnificently.

gentle, continuous adjustable. It’s the only reamer I trust with my meerschaum pipes.

I can evaluate this Senior Style knock off two ways. As a pipe smoker and as a retired machinist. I had an original Senior which disappeared a while back, so I jumped at the chance for this modestly priced copy. And was every bit happy that I did! It performs well and reams cake build-up to an excellent thickness. As a machinist, I appreciate how it was manufactured and assembled. The knurling of the grips is outstanding and allows a secure grip on the tool and the light polishing smooths it down as to not be uncomfortable if gripped tightly.

This too is a little too much for what it’s worth. It scraps the cake so far down it shaves the wood of the bowl. The spring that keeps it together comes off and is a bugger to put back into place

This is wonderfully constructed and does its job well. Beware of the dimensions. The reamer does not expand wide enough for a tight fit in my Savinelli Mega Rustic 320 pipe, which has a 1.0" bowl. It still works great, regardless. I especially appreciate the included stem drill, which does a good job clearing out built-up tar.

This is the best tool of its kind. Fits in all my pipes and has scraped excess buildup on them all.

I lost the one I had in the 70's and really loved it then. I had to get this one hoping that it was the same. Fortunately it was! This seems to be the only reamer that will reestablish a smooth and even carbon layer around the inner bowl without gouging. And, it has a great hand grip, especially for those of us with big paws. The shank borer is long enough to reach into the bottom of the bowl from the shank end. It really helps to clean them out when a pipe cleaner can' t.

Does a great job. The Nording pipe is just like new.

Sharp scraper and the drill bit to clean any caking inside the canal is a big plus! Beats using my a regular drill bit!

Bought for the drill bit; had several pipes that were plugged hard. The drill bit worked great.

I would have given it five stars but for the fact that the reamer does not have a hole at the tip for a pipe cleaner as did the one I had in the 70s.

The spring falls off the cutters in the middle falls apart

It's a great little tool. I would have given it a 5 star rating if they would only have included some directions on its use. I've been experimenting so I'm finding out how it works but it took some time. I'd still like directions to see if I'm doing it right.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE CASING IS REALLY HARD ON THE HAND. AS FOR THE DRILL, WHICH IS A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER IT HAS NO STOPS, YOU CAN DRILL COMPLETLY THOUGH YOU BOWL. IF IT HAPPENS TOU YOU PUT SOME SUPER GLUE IN THE HOLE, WORKS GREAT. IT SAVED MY TEKIN PIPE FROM THE GARBAGE CAN.

Excellent tool!

I needed a good reamer to evenly remove cake and this was it.

This is a must have for any pipe smoker. In the first hour after receiving it, I had trimmed the cake on a couple pipes and fell in love. I do wish it would fit smaller pipes, and that the prongs would be bent more -- and a touch shorter -- to better fit the bottom of the chamber.

Nice piece of equipment

Very heavy duty, I can not imagine breaking the tool or wearing it out. It has actual cutters that reach to bottom of my various pipes. I had cleaned my pipes with another brand of reamer and thought it had did a decent job, I was wrong. This tool is worth the money, it should be the last one you will ever have to buy.

This is the best reamer I have had in over 45 years of pipe maintenance. A bit pricey, but then it does work, so worth every penny. Keeps the pipes sweet and easy to smoke.

It doesn't work as well as I expected. I have trouble getting to the bottom of the bowl.

Still waiting for the humidifiers ordered a few weeks ago but back ordered

Works just great. Of course my pipes aren't caked up since I don'smoke often. I have asthma and shouldn't smoke at all, but I enjoy having a pipe or cigar once in awhile.

Didn't work to well on one pipe because hole was small, but have others have bigger holes. I liked the reamer for the hole where the stem goes in.

Greatly helped with some very old pipes!

Got this tool today very well made used it on two of my pipes that neeed some tlc badly both now smoke like new really can't see a problem worth every penny spent
