Sutliff Black Cherry

Good smoke good value

I have tried various cherry blends and all have left me with a bitter taste. So I pretty well stayed away from them. I decided to try this blend because I have found Sutliff tobacco's a good choice so I decided to try this blend, not only was it a pleasant aroma but not bitter after taste. So yes I do recommend it to others and I will be purchasing more.

This has been a great find for me. I've been looking for a decent daily blend and, since I'm relatively new to the pipe world, this one fits both bill and type that I was looking for. Tastes great without any bite, and keeps lit very well.

The cherry smell wasn't overpowering beforehand, but also didn't contribute to the smoke. The quality of the tobacco and the cut was excellent. I will buy more from Sutliff, just not this one again.

Tastes great! I really enjoy the flavor but when it first showed up it was a little too damp and wouldn't light well. Worked fine after a few days though!

A little moist than what i am used to. Tasty with a slight cherry note. No bite Good room note

For black cherry I don’t think you can do better

This is in the Top 3 of my favorite Cherries. The Cherry note is there but doesn't overpower the different Cavendish tobaccos. A very comfortable smoking experience.

A little bit harsh. Not as satisfying as Captain Black cherry.

I used this as part of my personal blend. Where it has a nice aroma, it still burns a bit hot for my blend.

Very nice cherry-flavored tobacco, probably the best I sampled. No bitter notes. Makes for a very pleasant morning smoke.

Good stuff mild and satisfying.

I am not a long time pioe smoker, but I have tried several different tobaccos, and this one isn't terrible. I could only taste a hint of cherry in this. If you want a tobacco the hardly has a flavor of cherries, then this might be for you. I preferred the lane very cherry, more than this. Everything else about the smoke was ennoyable, it stayed lit, and didn't have any tongue bite, but if you want a nice cherry flavor, I didn't find it. I would however recomend Sutliff maple walnut or their vanilla custard, they are awesome!

Great on its own but blended with Sutlff Chocolate mousse - a real treat!

It's smooth by contrast to some other flavored/ aromatic blends.

Smells like cherry ludens cough drops (in a good way).. As long as you keep it cool you get a nice cherry flavor on your tongue. Gives a great mustache note for later. You can't go wrong with Sutliff aromatics, they deliver on the name.

Sutliff Black Cherry is a very smooth tasting and wonderfully aromatic pipe tobacco. I've bought it before and I'll buy it again.

I've smoked Sutliff Vanilla for years. I tried the Black Cherry and liked it very much.

A wonderful smoke. I smoked a cherry flavor way before back in the day and it bit. The only redeeming quality it had was that female people liked the room note. Sutliff Black Cherry does not bite. I have lit up several different pipes with it and they all deliver the same smooth taste. If you like aromatic I think you will like this blend. And female people still enjoy the note.

I hate to tell anyone how good this Sutliff black cherry is because I am afraid it will be sold out before I can get more. It is a great tasting tobacco and smokes cool and long with a great room note.

This is a very nice blend. It burns smooth and even, had the smell of maraschino cherries and has the taste to boot.

An all day, no bite, smoke with a slightly creamy black cherry flavor and pleasant room note. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Pretty good cherry

Like the two other Sutliff's I've reviewed, I really like this tobacco. And again, I have only been smoking for four months, but I've ordered a few other brands and I was not impressed. I'll keep ordering Sutliff until they disappoint me. And yes, I like an aromatic.

... it it a very smooth draw (don't know whether that's a "standard" term. I smoke maybe one bowl per day, and I have about six different tobaccos. They are all nice, but one is probably the best.
