On it's own it is a bit nondescript, but when mixed 50/50 with creme brulee, it shines. Together they create a mild no bite blend, that despite feeling wet and sticky at loading, smokes cool and dry, leaving a powdery ash. I smoke this around non-smokers, as the aroma always elicits positive comments.

A favorite of mine. Great aroma and taste. Typically needs drying out for best smoking. I mix it with other, less expensive, vanilla or cherry tobaccos cavendish tobaccos to stretch it out and reduce the cost.

The chocolate mousse is fine for smoking alone or blending with other more dominant tobaccos. I find other chocolate tobaccos, like Sutliff's Chocolate Supreme, to be overwhelming. I need to blend it with at least 2x another tobacco if I am going to be smoking it all day.

Total nothing special black Cavendish. One thing is it has no vanilla
taste anywhere, so the lack of must be chocolate? If I handed it to you and said "its black cav", you'd say "oh yeah it is".
Now bag odor is indeed chocolate.
Wife is a pro now at baccy room notes and called " faint chocolate".
Just never built into a chocolate flavor.

Bought the 1oz bag here on P&C last week and I can not complain about the aroma and the taste and it has no bite to it what so ever. I can actually smell it through the box and when I opened it up I can smell the tobacco through the bag and then when I opened the bag up it smelled like fresh hot baked brownies and then I lit up a bowl of it and it was amazing on how smooth it was and did not have a bite as I said it is very chocolatey and has a very nice robust Black Cavendish taste to it that I guarantee others will enjoy. I had purchased other pipe tobacco in here and all of the tobaccos I bought had a bite but this one does not and it is much cheaper than an ounce and a half of Captain Black Pipe Tobacco which is very good tobacco and is one of the ones by Lane Limited I do enjoy but it has a bite. Will be buying more blends from Sutliff!

A nice change of pace smoke. Very mild and had no tongue bite even though it was fairly damp. I suggest letting it dry out in the open air for a while. I am really starting to enjoy the Sutliff tobaccos. They never fail to provide pipe smoking pleasure.

This tobacco smells amazing, if you like chocolate cake. This is it. But it’s super wet. Dried it out for a full day. Needs one more. Really just got it to mix with other tobaccos, and make winter blends. It will totally do the job. If your Looking for a sweet chocolate tobacco it’s amazing. I mixed it with my raspberry blend today. Two thumbs up.

I've been smoking this for a few years now. My wife loves the smell which helps alot. It has an excellent chocolate arroma which fills the air both lit or still in the bag. On the smoking end of it... You have a very smooth and mild flavor smoke which is what I like. I have very little bite. I plan to stick with it although I did just get a sampler bag of Cornell & Diehl Dark Chocolate for comparison.

My morning tobacco

I was looking for something to replace the Hines match that I had grown accustomed to smoking with my morning coffee. I have a small meerschaum pipe for this purpose and enjoyed the combination as a way to wake up. The chocolate mousse is not as sweet and there are no hints of coconut so it’s different. It is a nice morning tobacco and it’s now my new favorite for waking up with my coffee.

The chocolate essence is rich in the bag that comes in the shipping box.
Delightful and no tongue bite.
Can smoke this all day.
Possibly the richest chocolate flavor with great room note.
Try blending this with Sutliff vanilla custard.
Chocolate mousse can be moist, so a little drying time before packing your favorite pipe recommended. Enjoy!

Wow!! If you like dark chocolate you will love this one! Just the aroma that escapes the bag makes the whole room smell like you were baking brownies!! Slightly sweet but oh so chocolaty! No bite to the one from the first lighting of the bowl until your last puff. Highly recommended!

Oh yeah, it's chocolatey alright! Even smoking it side by side with an actual, from-scratch brownie, it still didn't lose its chocolate flavor. If you like chocolate, this is for you. It's got an earthy undertone that's very pleasant, and the batch I got was ready to smoke right out of the bag. A very pleasant smoke, with not too much bite. This is going to be one of my go-tos. Still subtle enough to smoke it all day long.

Wow! A chocaholics's dream..... Smooth and silky smoke with an outstanding flavor and aroma that I can only describe as being like a 3 Musketeers chocolate bar. Absolutely the best chocolate tobacco I have ever run across. I will be keeping this on hand, always. BTW. when you drink a cup of good coffee while your smoking this, you get this huge blast of Mocha Nirvana...the best coffee pipe you'll ever smoke. It makes the coffee taste better, and incredibly satisfying.

Wasn't crazy about this tabacco to be honest. Overpowering right when I got it...but let it cellar in a jar for a week or so and booyaah!! We have a winner. Mellowed out and became smooth and tasty. It will cure a sweet tooth after dinner. Smoke well my friends and as always big props to P&C.

Wowzers. This is one of the more flavorful aros ive tried. i really enjoy this. As a new smoker, i dont feel my palate is refined enough to get all of the nuances but this stuff however, to me, actually tastes like rich chocolate. im a fan. the pouch note is glorious. i find myself sneaking sniffs of this stuff every time i turn around. When i came back to order more, it was on backorder. this is no surprise as it is excellent. I fear to try another chocolate aro lest I become disappointed! top notch. try it.
