Sutliff Frosty Mint is the most intensely-flavored mint tobacco available. Virginias, Burleys and black Cavendish are topped with cool, bright mint and a touch of chocolate. Frosty Mint can be used to add a nice touch to your home-blending projects. If you're a mint lover, this is one blend you shouldn't pass up.
Got 2oz of this stuff, packed a bowl in an old Savinelli, and found the mint to be WAY over the top. Borderline nasty. Plus I thought I permanently ruined my pipe. I NEVER found anything that ghosts a pipe like this one. 3X worse than Benjamin Hartwell Evening Stroll. I smoked ONE bowl and could taste mint for 6 bowls after. If you're smoking this straight, use a cob. BUT... then I took an empty mason jar and tossed in 1/3 frosty mint, 1/3 Mac Baren 7 Seas Gold, and 1/3 Sutliff Mild Burley, and you know what? Pretty damn good!! Been smoking it all day today. I think next time I'll put even less frosty mint in. But really, really nice. It's a little disgusting straight, but I seriously think I'll always keep some of this around for blending. It takes away that "dirty mouth" feeling you get with some tobaccos and adds a fresh element. Perfect for summer. This should be sold as a blending tobacco. Mixing 15-20% of this w/ your favorite blend is perfect for a refreshing summer smoke. Gave me exactly what I was looking for when I bought McClelland Club - Vanilla Ice (but didn't get).
At first, I was bit overwhelmed by the mint, but I must admit that it is growing on me, especially since I'm a menthol cigarette smoker. No tongue bite. Good all the way to the bottom of the bowl.
My fellow pipers, this is very minty all I could say is WOW!! SO what I did was took a half ounce of the mint and mixed 1 ounce of the sutliff chocolate supreme and a half ounce of the sutliff black vanilla and it was very nice smoke, kinda gave a mint chocolate aroma.
Just the right amount of mint. I absolutely love it. I got this and the could smell it through the unopened box AND it was double bagged. Very nice. Not too strong, for me at least. But I love mint, my toothpaste burns other people's mouths. If you like a strong mint, definitely get this.
This is REALLY minty. The effect is lingering and powerful. SFM can easily be blended with another cut of your choosing and you won't be missing out on any of the minty coolness.
I should have realize the potency when it arrived double bagged! Wow -- as someone stated below it's like smoking an Altoid. Simply too much for me. This one will go to the back of the cellar.
A delicious and refreshing blend, Sutliff Frosty Mint will leave you craving more.
I'm a fan of mint. Mint gum, mint cookies, mint ice cream, etc. So I gave this one a try because someone recommended it. It's actually pretty good stuff. Nice and minty. If it was any mintier it would be too strong. It's almost like smoking an Altoid! LOL Pretty smooth and I got no tongue bite. This is the best mint pipe tobacco I've tried so far.
If you like mint then you're going to like this blend. Upon opening the bag you can smell an intense mint aroma. The humidity of the bag I got was just right. I didn't need to dry the tobacco. It lights and stays lit evenly throughout the bowl. Even on the charring light your mouth fills with a minty flavor. Smoking the pipe is like eating a York peppermint pattie, but without much sweetness. My mouth filled with the minty flavor. The mint is so overwhelming that you don't taste much tobacco. From what my girlfriend tells me the room note is sweet and very pleasant. I like mint, it reminds me back in the day when I smoked Newports. To me it's a great morning or after dinner smoke -or if you ever feel like you have cottonmouth, lol. I will be ordering more.
P&C cash is exactly that. Cash you get to spend the way you want. Pipes, tobacco, tools - you name it and you can use it towards your purchase.
