Sutliff Whiskey Cavendish

Sutliff Whiskey Cavendish is a mixture of mellow Burley, tangy-sweet Virginia, and toasted and steamed Green River Burley that's finished with a rich, zesty note of whiskey flavor. The taste is subtle, but the room note is wonderfully traditional. Fans of whiskey blends will love Sutliff Whiskey Cavendish.

Very smooth whiskey
Very smooth and light but very flavorful. I'm not generally a fan of whiskey flavored tobacco this would have to be my favorite

Sutliff Whiskey Cavendish
I have not met a Sutliff Aromatic I like and this is no exception. No aroma, no taste.

A Semi-Aromatic with Character
I liked the hint of whiskey in "Milk and Honey," so I bought a half-dozen different whiskey/bourbon topped samplers from P&C, including some pricey ones. Of all of them, Sutliff Whiskey Cavendish is my favorite. I admit I was dubious, because generally I haven't like Sutliff blends much before, but this one was the clear winner. It has a good Mild-to-Medium strength, with some complexity and depth of flavor, with no bite or chemical aftertaste (the bane of Aromatics). The room note is agreeable, but in more of a masculine rather than in a wife-pleasing way. My second choice of the bunch would be Sutliff SPS2007 Bourbon. It is very mild, with a good if somewhat one-dimensional flavor, as compared with Whiskey Cavendish, which is stronger and has more depth. Though Whiskey Cavendish is an Aromatic, the earthiness of the Burley comes through, so I would say it is more accurately described as a "Semi-Aromatic" (if there was such a category, and I think there should be when the natural tobak flavor is still discernible). Good stuff!

Great all day smoke
This is my favorite tobacco now. This stuff is fantastic. A nice mild smoke that has a very nice room note; my wife loves the room note (happy wife happy life).
Customer Testimonials
This seems to be one of those sleeper blends. I'm surprised there have no reviews, so let me be the first. Having smoked Smoker's Pride Whiskey, I honestly like this blend better. Not bitter or overly strong, this is smooth and slightly sweet. Slight nutty note. I come away from the bowl feeling satisfied. Great room note that doesn't knock one over. Upon opening the bag, I notice a strong but very inviting scent. In a cob this us fantastic. Unlike other whiskey mixtures out there, it doesn't feel like something's missing or the need to add to it. Waving the bowl under my nose enhances the experience. Highly recommended.
Sometimes Sutliff aromatics can be a toss up. This was a pleasant surprise that seems to be one of those sleeper blends. It's smooth and cool smoking. Unlike other Whiskey mixtures that need blending to enhance them, Whiskey Cavendish stands strong on it's own. There's a very noticeable scent upon opening the bag that's very inviting. Well balanced, it's lightly sweet and nutty. Great body and nice room note that doesn't overwhelm. Great job, Sutliff!! J.F. -Pierre, SD
