Wessex Red Virginia Flake uses layers of chestnut-colored Virginia firmly pressed into strips of flake with a natural toasty flavor and a subtle sweetness that’s very satisfying.
Wonderful tangy red Virginia with some sort of topping maybe a wine scent. Slightly sour if pushed but never a biter for me. I would put it next to Dunhill Flake and 633 each different but delicious. The only red Virginia I may like a bit more is McCrannies Red Ribbon but that is a different animal all together.
