Cornell & Diehl Small Batch: Fires on the Levee

In Louisiana along the idyllic banks of the Mississippi, you'll find a Christmas light experience unlike any other on the night Papa Noel takes flight. Large bonfires guide the gift bearer in a tradition that goes back to the mid-19th century. It is this tradition that inspired the latest addition to Cornell & Diehl's Small Batch series, Fires on the Levee.

This well balanced flake sees a Virginia base complemented by the spice and dark fruit sensation of Cornell & Diehl's signature St. James Perique. Finally, two thoughtfully selected grades of Dark Fired Kentucky bring woody and smoky overtones to the mix. It's another undertaking from the blending house that is founded as much in a reverence for quality pipe tobacco as it is in the tradition it celebrates.
