Sir Walter Raleigh wins

I'd been curious to try some of the "codger blends" for a while after smoking the "fancier" stuff for a while now, and this was on sale so I had to give it a shot. The more I think about it, the more it seems that what it really comes down to is that Sir Walter Raleigh is just Burley and Virginia without the abundance of Black Cavendish that Captain Black Original has, and that's probably why I prefer it. While Captain Black Original goes great with coffee, I think by itself it leaves something to be desired, whereas Sir Walter Raleigh may not blow your socks off, but it gets the job done on its own.
