CAO Colombia
Once again, CAO finds great leaf from a country and builds a superb cigar around it, and this time, the trip ends in Colombia.
Tobacco has been grown in Colombia for hundreds of years, but it's been in the last couple of decades that manufacturers have discovered the flavor of Colombian tobacco and begun to work it into their brands. CAO has created a cigar that takes advantage of the unique flavor, making a smoke unlike anything else.
Beneath a golden Nicaraguan wrapper lies a Cameroon binder and a long-filler mixture from Brazil and, of course, Colombia. The leaf used, called Ica Mazinga, adds a singular flavor. The overall profile includes notes of leather, nuts and coffee with a hint of caramel-like sweetness and a briny finish. Medium-bodied, unique and remarkably flavorful - that's CAO Colombia.
