Cornell & Diehl Star of the East is the loose-cut, bulk version of their popular Star of the East Flake. The blend contains 50% Cyprian Latakia, making it remarkably rich and smoky. It's then spiced up by the addition of Turkish Izmir, and then instead of the typical Virginia, C&D uses red Virginia that has been gently stoved to darken the color and deepen the flavor. This cool-burning tobacco has a depth of flavor not usually found, and is a great addition to the rotation of any Latakia lover.
