Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown
The cigar rollers at Drew Estate used to enjoy lighting up a Liga Privada #9, but the demand was so high that they asked them to stop smoking them. To make up for that decision, they allowed the rollers to develop their own blend. The result was so outstanding that they had to make them available to the public. That cigar was called Undercrown. It not only was successful, it also received a 90-rating.
They followed it up with Undercrown Shade featuring a golden shade-grown wrapper. This was another success, and it garnered an even better 91-rating.
So for those who like a spicier cigar, they created Undercrown Sun Grown. Clad in a gorgeous Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper, it's a bit lighter in body than the original, but richer than Shade. There's a lot of woodiness in the flavor profile along with dark coffee notes, along with white pepper and hints of cinnamon. Undercrown Sun Grown joins a bunch of distinguished cigars from Drew Estate, many of which are highly rated. So how does this stick stand up to its siblings? Undercrown Sun Grown has received a 92-rating - the highest of the three. If you like sweetness and spice, then it's time to try this one!
