Hearth & Home Marquee Fusilier's Ration

Hearth & Home Marquee Series' Fusilier's Ration is in a category all its own. This easy to prepare crumble cake begins with plenty of rich Cyprian Latakia and some of the most fragrant of all the Oriental varietals. Zesty, sweet yellow Virginia is added to brighten the flavor. Some mellow, unflavored black Cavendish is included to add body. The finishing touch is the subtle and complementary, old-fashioned top note. It accents the flavor and aroma while never being clearly noticeable.

Fusilier's Ration was created by Russ Ouellette as a tribute to one of his all-time favorite blends - Bengal Slices. I'll start by saying that Fusilier's Ration was love at first light. The flakes are pressed pretty densely but break apart like a crumble cake. It packs well and usually two lights will get it going. The taste is very intriguing; very old timey to me."  -John F.
