Leaf by Oscar Sumatra

Leaf by Oscar Sumatra certainly caught my attention, and not just because they wrap each individual cigar in a natural tobacco leaf instead of cellophane. You see, I'm a huge fan of Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers. That leaf is used on La Gloria Cubana and Serie R, along with one of my all-time favorites, Man O' War Armada.

Leaf by Oscar Sumatra has the woodsy sweetness that I would have expected, along with hints of nuts and coffee, and a good amount of spice. They're very well-made, and the flavor is consistent and satisfying. The presentation is rustic, but these cigars are no one-trick pony.
