A new take on an Epic.
The original Montecristo Epic was created by their team of master blenders, the Grupo de Maestros using very special, top-quality long-fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua encased by a Nicaraguan binder. It was finished with a select Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. They decided to revisit this fabulous cigar and created Montecristo Epic No.2 ,
This time it only comes in one shape - a 6.0" x 50 toro which showcases the blend perfectly. The tobaccos are essentially the same as in the first Epic, but all of them are from 2007, so the strength drops a notch from the original's medium to full-bodied to a solid medium, but there's also more smoothness and complexity. There's an amazing confluence of flavors like wood, toast, nuts, vanilla, caramel, spices, and pepper. Do yourself a favor and try the masterpiece that is Montecristo Epic No.2 .
