Captain Black edges out Borkum Riff in the final round for the win!

Captain Black is better

Captain black has a better aroma and taste for an indoor smoke. Borkhum Riff is a bit hardier, less aromatic, and probably would do better by a campfire in an outdoor arena.

Captain Blacks Stands out.

Captain Black is by far my favorite of the two in this battle. The two are similar in their tastes and profiles, the Bokrum has a bit of a bite to the back end of it.

The Captain for the win

Captain Black takes the win here. Both are good, but CB just tastes and smells like I imagine a pipe should. Mellow and sweet with a classic room note...

Captain, by a nose!

Glad I picked up these blends because otherwise, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to try Borkum Riff. The BR is a smooth and cool smoke that I enjoy immensely. The Captain Black Original wins this battle, though, because it has become my favorite tobacco I have experienced so far in five months of pipe smoking. Both are a treat.
