Beginning in 1906 by Roy Brigham, Brigham pipes has been long known for affordable briars. Brigham developed a reputation for his high-quality workmanship by 1818, and by then he wanted to solve an occurring issue brought up by pipe enthusiasts known as tongue bite. Discovering a unique Rock Maple filter system, Brigham reached his goals that soon spread to the masses. The hollowed-out wooden tube made of rock maple is fitted into the pipe and extends into the stem to reduce tongue bite and excessive moisture.
