Kaywoodie pipes are part of Americana, and this Kaywoodie Red Dot Straight Paneled Pot is a nice example. It's an eight-sided paneled pot with a pitted-type rustication and a walnut stain. It has a square shank, and the stem is a freehand-style bit with the traditional screw-in fitment. There are no tooth marks or chatter and the wood is very clean. If you want a solid American-made pipe for not a lot of money, here's a great bet.
